Angela is one of my favorite Madness Combat OCs. She isn’t from Nevada at all—the Auditor accidentally tore her from another world, one that had its own version of heaven.
He kept her hidden away, experimenting on her in secret. During this time, the Auditor brutally ripped apart sections of her wings. She was held there for weeks, but many of the experiments failed—her skin was unnaturally cold, so cold that not even a needle could pierce it.
Eventually, the building was raided by Deimos and Sanford. Neither of them knew Angela was being kept there. In the chaos, they killed a man whose head slammed down onto a control panel, unintentionally releasing the experiments locked inside the facility.
After her escape, Angela went into hiding for several weeks. Eventually, she was discovered by a group of mercenaries who chose to take her in. Because of her unusual appearance, they helped her alter her look so she could better blend in with them. She removed her halo, wanting to appear more human more like the people who had saved her.
Angela became the medic for the crew that rescued her. The squad, known as the Doves, was one of the best teams assigned to high risk special missions.
During one mission, they were tasked with escorting civilians out of an area devastated by a terrorist attack. It was there that Angela was burned alive, but she survived, rescued at the last moment by her team.
Over the years, she began to lose people one by one. Eventually, she lost her beloved on the battlefield. His body was never found. All that remained was his dog tag, which was recovered and returned to her.
Angela came to understand that her god could no longer reach her. Her prayers were heard only as echoes of sorrow, with no path left for her to return home. And so, she accepted her fate—forever bound to Nevada.
Only death is her true escape.
