idk if it’s just me, but bts’ music (and bts as a whole) just isn’t the same anymore. their songs get increasingly less original and expressive, and every comeback gets less impressive to me. i believe that bts totally worked hard to get to where they are now, and they are still amazing people and amazing kpop idols, but i have gradually lost interest in them. i loved the deep messages in their songs, and loved how they weren’t afraid to go against society, but these comebacks are just generic pop songs. i also feel like when they go on american tv, the hosts kind of just belittle them, and half of them are just using them for clout, which hurts to see. i also think a lot of armys are toxic and immature as fck, and they’re super disrespectful to senior artists and believe that bts is the best and only kpop group that everyone should stan. the overall fandom has too many stupid people that it makes my head hurt, and i can see why people leave the fandom because of other toxic fans. i never understood the fanwars over the teensiest things. im also korean, and when bts started getting more popular in korea, i was SO excited and happy that other koreans were finally starting to realize how amazing bts were, rather than international fans being over 90% of bts’ fans. it’s weird that i went from such a hardcore fan with merch, downloading ALL their songs, and staying up and following all their comebacks, to gradually leaving the fandom. i am definitely NOT a hater, half my posts on my dead af blog are about bts, 80% of my 12000 liked posts are about bts, and i was such a hardcore army that it’s weird to be saying this.

i just kinda wanted to get that off my chest, i still think bts are amazing people and they’re still super humble despite their massive popularity, and i respect that. thiis post is just one in the thousands of posts regarding bts and im sure this will get lost in the flood of posts, but i again just wanted to get that off my chest. thanks for listening/reading if you got this far HAHAHAHHA
