It's so funny how the first time guts and griffith/femto meet each other again in the black swordsman arc griffith acts all high and mighty and says to guts that he basically doesn't care about him at all
This intrigued me, right now guts even with the berserker armor has no chance of killing griffith, but since griffith clearly still *does* care about guts and casca (in a way that increases with time), then might it be possible that one day when guts comes face to face with griffith again, griffith just breaks down crying, regretting his choices and allows himself to be killed by guts?
Well I don't think it's impossible for him to let himself be killed by guts you know, maybe in their final confrontation his lingering feelings could get in the way and could be the thing that destroys him (again). We've seen how griffith wasn't able to kill guts in the past and how he even allowed himself to be overpowered by guts in their 2nd duel as it was brilliantly written here. So yeah I think it could happen (this if guts is really able to kill him).
Personally what I'd like to see in their final moments is them having a moment of emotional catharsis where their feelings are acknowledged, them finally understanding each other and (homoerotically) dying together after. But that's just my wish :')
