its been a while

Last time I posted was 3 years ago. Whoops so much for every 2 years updating here.

So much has changed but at the same time hasn't.

I still have Nova and she's still ever evolving with me. I now have 6 heads and 2 bodysuits. (I lost over 120 pounds last year) so a new bodysuit was required.

I still mermaid but due to covid and the lasting effects on local buisness, Halifax mermaids shut its doors. I am still an independent contractor and do parties and events when im privately booked.

This year I will celebrate my 6 year wedding anniversary with my amazing husband! Wow.

Im still sewing and making lots of things. Including a huge cosplay build last year for Asteid from how to train your dragon! You can see photos of that master class build on my TikTok and instagram which I took 3rd in GRAND masters with at my last convention.

While im not making fursuit full time anymore, I joined the Canadian military, got hurt and then quickly medical discharged. I spent MONTHS over the past 2 years in recovery mode and trying to put myself back together. Since then I took up a corporate desk job and still make fursuits on the side.

I quilt a lot more these days to keep myself sane.

Anyways... guess i'll update here again in the next few years 🤣

I guess another 2 years have gone by since I've posted here.... Tumblr had kinda fallen to the way side.

I'm still incredibly active on my Twitter, insta and tiktok... however since covid kinda let up and people are back to our new normal lives, we'll I'm mostly active on Twitter. And posting occasionally on the other 2.

Nova is still my main sona, though I did buy back kyra the manokit! She is just kinda a trophy suit at this point 🤣

I'm still mermaiding with Halifax mermaids. Still have to many tails, though some have come and go. I have my own custom tails now! And gosh they are pretty.

My husband is in the military now, and we got posted and moved to a beautiful new city. Still up east in Canada.

Oh lol I don't think I ever posted but way back in 2020 I got married 😅 oops.

It's mostly funny to look back at my old posts here. They are almost a time capsule and diary. Maybe I'll treat it as such and keep checking in with life updates here every once in a blue moon.

i figured it was time i shared some of the stuff ive recently been up too haha. so yeah i never left the furries, but i did also right after begin mermaiding. I am not a part of a wildly known mermaid team in canada and am a Professional. ive been training for years and am now legit. I own several expensive AF tails and many accessoirises. the team that I work for has so many hugely talented mermaids its crazy and they STILL teach me soooo much.

I am also still making fursuits and have a beautiful website. www.novafur.com ! come check out my work. over the past 6 years i have now won many awards in cosplay contests for my sewing and crafting skills. 2 of those being master class awards. And one even being for a fursuit cosplay i did back a couple of years ago. in the 6 years i have been making fursuits i have completed over 31 commissions! wow!!! that's 2 per month on a break down. But some do go way faster and some take much longer that is for damn sure.

I am glad i never left the furry fandom, without it i truly dont know where id be, even with all the drama and pain ive been through in the community its all been worth it to be where i am now and have the friends that i do, as it also led me to the world of mermaids and the team i am now part of!

I didn't leave the fandom for long... my best friend dragged me back and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. this stunning suit was made by myself and the head by strut your fluff an incredible maker I am not friend with. I'm still cosplaying and now officially a professional mermaid with a team that I work for! crazy how much can change in a few years

Do you think you could make a Dutch Angel Dragon Fursuit for me? Many people probably ask to make suits, but I REALLY want one, and they're super expensive, my price range is about 500-600, if not, maybe a manokit? Please reply, thank you

Did you sell your manokit fursuit and if so what will you're new fursona/fursuit be

Sadly i did sell my manokit! :'( im currently not designing anything and im taking a step back from the toxicity of my local fur community. I still love making suots so that wont stop anytime soon. Ive still got a good list of clients right now... Just a lot is going on in my life and... And the drama and bulshit was getting to be to much and it was taking a toll on my mental health. (Depression hit an all time low and my anxiety was off the charts.) So im taking some time to explore mermaiding, got a new motorbike and family time along with commissions and cosplay. :)

Worth 3000usd with all art, Fullsuit, Custom matching kigurumi Custom plush doll 10+ physical hq art 10+ digital hq art Whilling to negotiate but must have at least 30% down payment and monthly payment plans must be paid off in 3-4 months. Suit fits someone 5"8' or a little shorter and 200-250pounds. (Think tall and Amazonian warrior build.... Okay wow! I never really use tumblr much because I never had a lot of followers, so today im checking why i have 200+ notifications and like 150 are from here... How overnight seemingly I grew to 215 followers I don't know but... THANK YOU!!! Like wow! On instagram I've got over 800 but here i never dreamed of going this high!!! it might be too late but.. u know u can just take the suit in right? too small isn't usually fixable but too big is usually REALLY easy to fix. especially if you can make suits urself.

Yes, a little to late indeed. And yes as a suit maker I know i could have, but there where also other reasons for selling the suit. I had issues with another local fursuiter copying her designs and making my life really miserable, after a lot of scrap happened... Just seemed easier to cut ties and move one. Its all good now though, everything is jist dandy and I'm supper happy with my new suit Raven.😍

Whats your favorite thing to do in suit and are anyone jealous of your awesome suit?

I love to see kids at conventions honestly, the smiles they get on their faces are honestly pure perfection. I do also love doing photo shoots with my photographer (also my partner) he is a doll to work with even though he isn't a fur himself
