gossip is nothing new to nova, she’s been in the tabloids from before she was even brought out into the world when she all tucked inside of her mother’s womb. her father is a director, her mother a well known actress whose first breakout film had been one of his best. rumours had been flying around about their love affair for years and the second that someone caught her mother’s assistant buying a pregnancy test and then rushing over to her house, everything blew up. that, and multiple ‘close sources’ came out to rat them out as well: ‘they’ve been keeping things quiet’, ‘him and his wife were only together for the publicity anyway’ ‘they are ready to welcome their baby girl into the world’. still, they kept quiet until nova was born and then finally, years of denial finally came to an end once her father got a divorce and the two went public. things had been a whirlwind after that - her parents were finally out in the open together, and a year later they were married… but it turned out that neither of her parents were able to stay committed to just one another. they can’t stay away from each other either, so it’s a rollercoaster that nova’s had to deal with her entire life. one minute they’re running off on vacation together and the next, they’re arguing and not speaking to each other for months. nova, on the other hand, doesn’t even question it anymore since it’s her norm. they’re certainly to blame for the fact that she’s so damn flighty and incapable of knowing what love is really supposed to mean.
she got into acting at a really young age because the world and her parents convinced her that it was set in the stars for her. it seemed like there was no other route for her to take and honestly, it did make sense for her. film had always been such an important part of her life thanks to her parents, and she was always in awe whenever she saw her mom on the screen. she’s amazing at it, and she loves bringing new characters to life and proving to people that she isn’t just in the industry because of her family connections (which, fair enough, it definitely makes things a lot easier but she’s still got the talent regardless). that being said, there are definitely other things that she wants to pursue as well on top of it. in her free time her room is always filled with sketches everywhere. fashion is something that’s always been important to her, and she loves designing things too. personality
some kids shy away from the spotlight but nova was made for it. she’s passionate about the things she does and will always strive to succeed. she’s charismatic, confident; the type of girl that would never shy away from walking up to a complete stranger and introducing herself. but she’s also got a wild streak to her as well. the girl’s impulsive, and when anything goes wrong in her life she’s quick to jet off somewhere else. either alone or dragging someone else with her. she’s also stubborn as hell and it’s hard to get her to budge on anything once she’s had her mind made up about someone or something.
