Hi! I've been working on an app to create animations in the style of RPG Maker games like isat, and here's the result so far!
Contribute to NovaAmethyst/isat-anim-app development by creating an account on GitHub.
This app allows the user to define actors and actions, which can be used to create characters and walk cycles for example. These actors can then be placed in a scene, where you can tell them how they should move around. The end result can then be exported as an mp4 file, like this one!
I've released a version for Windows, Linux and Mac, although you might need to go change your settings to use the Mac version.
If you have any question, suggestion or bug to report, don't hesitate to send me an ask!
Hey guys, so the discord held a banner contest! Now we have a spiffy new Banner. Ain’t it neat? Outside of that, Production is going well, Dawn’s lines have been recorded and we are in the process of getting the other cast members to fill out theirs! I’ve come to ask and offer a position in the staff team! The form is right here!
Go fill it out when you have the time! That’s it from me, bye! -Sodi

Had to ask, how would the Director respond to the fact its the party looping, not Dawn?
Hi!
I am still figuring things out as I go, but the Director will most likely go through a mix of denial and anger. How dare this Siffrin let their party carry the burden of the time loops?!
What's this? @askoverkill, but everyone loops except for Dawn?
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
The world is ending. The sky is falling, people are rotting alive, and you and your party are supposed to defeat the deity causing all of this.
You didn’t expect for your party to get stuck in a time loop. And then, you didn’t expect that the person causing the loops to happen wouldn’t remember them, while a child and their supposed parent you don’t know do remember them.
Oddities surrounding Odile (an @askoverkill theory about the Director's wish)
I looked at all the mirror pictures again, and I noticed something strange about Odile: she's the only one who doesn't change at all in them.
Mira gets new earrings (teardrops, unlike the ones she had in isat), and she has different hairstyles in some. Isa has rectangular earrings in some, and loops in others. Bonnie doesn't have many visible changes due to their position, but they do have a bandaid in one of the pictures. Meanwhile, aside from her expression, Odile is the exact same as in the picture with Loop.
That's also the case in the mirror world: Bonnie has a different shirt, Mira still has teardrop earrings and even a different change ornament than she had in isat (2 dots per change symbol instead of a dot and teardrop shape per symbol). Isa also still has loop earrings instead of rectangular ones. Meanwhile, Odile still has no visible change: not with her glasses, the darker patches of her coat, the shape of her collar or sleeves or her hairstyle.
That's not the only thing in which Odile is the odd one out: we've also had several instances where Odile is different from the rest of the party in a significant way.
This one could just be due to the different circumstances in Dawn's world, but I find it interesting that Odile is the only party member whose forge question had a different answer than expected. And while everyone is wearing different clothes (most of them are wearing protective clothing, including gloves, which would reduce the chance of having superficial wounds), Odile is the only one to have a different haircut.
There's also the matter of the Twoie incident: why was doodle Odile the only one with a face completely obscured due to the distortions? Why was she the only one with a different font? Doodle Odile also seemed to be the most aggressive towards the Director, with her calling fae a murderer while doodle Mira only seemed worried about Twoie.
Then, there's one more instance I had completely forgotten about before rereading: Odile was singled out by the Change God.
We know the Change God can feel strongly about people (see their love for Mira in isat and hatred for Dawn because he's a Siffrin) But why did the Change God feel so strongly about Odile that they kissed her during their first meeting, and that they greeted her separately when they appeared in the first loop?
So, something is definitely up with Odile when it comes to the outer loops and the image the Director has of her. Whatever this is, it must be related to what happened to the Director before fae made a wish, if not to the wish itself.
So, what happened to make stardust become the Director?
Well, to start off, the Director most likely went through the Bigfrin fight: ze doesn't have a hat on the frames where ze looks like Siffrin after all. We also know the Director likely viewed herself as a twist villain of sorts, as they told Dawn during the date, which would imply that the Bigfrin fight ended badly.
Another thing of note is that during the Twoie incident, doodle Odile says that she and the Director/Stardust were never friends. This is especially important because of one detail of the Bigfrin fight: Odile's first response at the time is to attack Stardust. Of course, Stardust immediately internalizes the event, and thinks that Odile never saw him as a friend.
Depending on how much fae internalized that "we don't attack friends", they might have only targeted Odile during the fight.
That outcome seems especially likely given how Stardust tends to react to confrontation. In the sus quest, whenever Loop goes on a topic Stardust doesn't like, and during Odile's and Isa's failed friendquests, Stardust lashed out in response. They either started shouting at them to shut up, or used topics he knew would impact them so they would leave the confrontation be.
During the Bigfrin fight, we don't have any other option but to fight, or attack yourself. If Stardust felt cornered, they very well could have started attacking the party, or more specifically whoever was the most confrontational.
In that fight, Odile is the one leading the conversation about the time loops. She's also the one who stopped Stardust from escaping the situation as they used to do before, by stopping him from looping back somehow. When that happens, Siffrin's battle portrait starts looking frightened.
I think it's very likely that Stardust killed Odile after she stopped them from looping back.
Doodle Odile seems to imply that whatever happened was reversable, but I'm not so sure myself. At the time, Stardust was severely Craft exhausted, and in canon isat, Odile even mentions that Siffrin likely doesn't have enough energy to use Time Craft again.
Maybe after that happened, the Director wished to face some sort of retribution for what xe had done. I think the current situation would fit with that kind of wish, at least when it comes to the Director's role in the story.
When Loop wished for help, they became the help another version of them needed. But, at the same time, said other version became their help by going through the House in their stead. If the Director wished for some sort of retribution for becoming the villain of the story, they could have been given the opportunity to give said retribution to another version of them as they wish, all while being seen as a villain by the entire party and having them try their hardest at killing them.
Also, maybe part of the Director's wish involved making sure Odile specifically would be back how she used to be, which made it less likely for her to be impacted by the butterfly effect?
Then, there's the comicfury version of overkill: this one made some changes in loop 0 for now, which includes redesigns of some rooms. Notably, the hallway leading to the storage room and the darts game now has paintings on the wall, including this one.
I think this painting of Mira, Bonnie and Isa looking down at a clearly injured Odile on the roof paints a pretty clear picture of what happened.

It’s finally over! You’re finally out of the time loop! You just need to rest a bit, and then you can head to Bambouche and meet Bonnie’s sister!
But while on your way there, you hear rumors of someone calling themself a star. Hoping that the star in question is Loop, you end up taking a detour to find them and hopefully thank them for their help.
Here’s the first chapter of my post One Hat ending fanfic! I feel like people focus a lot on the Two Hats ending (for good reasons!), but I really wanted to explore that ending instead.
Here’s a @askoverkill Dusk centric fanfic from pre-canon!
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
The sky was breaking.
Cracks were forming on it at an alarming rate, filling the light sky with the unknown shade you'd noticed earlier. Some patches of the sky between the cracks made the stars visible, as if the sun was no longer blocking their light with its own, but those too were tainted by the visceral shade.
You stare in disbelief as more patches of the sky get detached from their spot and fall down to the ground below, leaving a trail of darkless in their wake and making more tainted stars appear in the process. You are reminded of meteor showers.
Or, what were the first days Dusk spent in this outer loop like?
So, Mira has been acting a little weird for a while now, and it seems even more noticeable in the current loop (loop 46). So far, I’m seeing two different avenues to explore: the “bad feelings” Mira gets, and the times where she gets the Change symbol in her eyes.
First, I want to talk about the weird feelings Mira has been getting, as well as how she somehow navigates the Labyrinth without any detours.
Indeed, despite Dawn, Dusk and Lupus being the only party members to remember the loops, they aren’t leading the party and therefore wouldn’t be able to avoid potential roadblocks: yet, we haven’t met any. Even in the corridor to the trap building room, where there were two options with one leading to a dead end in isat, the party is immediately looking in the right direction.
In fact, if you look more closely to the party’s path through the labyrinth while they're led by Mira, they aren’t going into any room which doesn’t have anything useful in time, whether it be information, keys or tomato bombs.
In a way, Mira seems to have some subconscious knowledge of the Labyrinth’s current layout, despite it being different from the House she knew. This can be seen in how she wanted to go left the first time the party arrived to floor 2, which would be the fastest way to go through the floor in normal circumstances. Similarly, she only tried to enter a Nostalgie room when a tomato bomb would be needed next and the party didn’t have one yet.
Also, when she and Isa went alone through the rooms back in floor 1 this loop, they headed to the correct room immediately.
I feel like Mira might be somewhat aware of/affected by the Director’s script: she might be aware of the best path forward in case Siffrin can’t lead the party, and most importantly, her bad feelings seem similar to when the Director chose to remove the date in floor 1. A bad event happens in a loop, and the people affected by said event avoid it in whatever way they can: either by removing the game for the Director, or by avoiding the rooms in question for Mirabelle. So, when the party is about to reach a room with a crack in it, Mira stops them and says she should go alone because she thinks she’s immune to it. Similarly, she has been avoiding going in the direction of the gardening room for as long as possible in the current loop, going right on floor 2 and then telling the party not to enter the room. That’s because going into that room makes the entire party reveal that they don’t think they can win against the Director, which is extremely bad for the group’s morale especially as Dawn’s condition gets worse.
Now, onto the second part of Mira’s actions being weird: her behavior when she gets the Change symbol in her eyes. In isat, this happens twice: when defeating the King, both normally and during act 5. In both of these situations, she gives a great speech about how the King is going against her country and the Change belief, before using a powerful Craft spell to either make the King disappear or reflect his time freeze at him.
This does not fit with the times the Change symbol appeared in overkill. So far, we have seen it in four situations: when Mira first encountered the Director, when she told Dawn she would save him both in the armory and the Clocktower, and during the rock paper scissors tournament.
In the cases which aren’t flashbacks, the way she acts seems very strange: she seems more manic than passionate like she was in isat, and she keeps on referring to her position as a blessed savior who will save the world from the Director instead of how fae has impacted everyone’s lives so far. This is even more noticeable in the rock paper scissors tournament, because she starts a speech as she usually would before it seemingly got derailed when the Change symbol appeared.
Also, the Change symbol is likely not caused by the Change God possessing her: we’ve seen that happen already, and her face and eyes look completely different when that happens.
Taking all of this into account, I feel like Mira might be influenced by some Mind Craft, and has been since she first encountered the Director.
Indeed, every person we’ve seen influenced by the Theater Curse and therefore Mind Craft has had a symbol in their eyes: Euphrasie, the cook and the book thief all have a spiral, and Dusk has a star. Even Dawn had a circle in his eye which was present in all their sprites while they were Theater Cursed.
We also know that a person affected by Mind Craft wouldn’t be able to tell thanks to Isa.
Since the Director seems to have some control over the puppets created when fae invaded the House, as seen by the book thief having a very specialized role which wouldn’t fit the usual strains gained from sky pieces, it seems likely that fae cast Mirabelle as a savior and used some Mind Craft to do so. In that case, the Change symbol appearing in Mira’s eyes would be a sign of Mind Craft being active and overwriting what she would have done in a given situation. The Director calling her “my favorite actor” and telling her to “make a good show” makes this conclusion seem even more likely to be true.
Another thing to take into account for all of this, is that Mira believes she is immune to the Blood and Theater Curses because the Director told her so when they first met: we haven’t seen any proof yet that xir was telling the truth at the time.
Tldr: I think that Mira has been influenced by Mind Craft since first meeting the Director, and that the Change symbol appearing in her eyes means that said Craft is active. She also seems to be aware of and change the script in a similar manner to the Director, like when fae removed the date, which is manifested by her having a bad feeling about a room and avoiding it.
I’ve been rereading the overkill au recently, and I’ve noticed two more things which could indicate that Mira is influenced by Mind Craft when the Change symbol appears in her eyes.
First, while Mira tried to reassure Dawn that she would save him in the forge (loop 7) and the Clockower (loop 8), which both involved the Change symbol, we also have an example of Mira doing the same without it in loop 3, right after the Craft Wave in floor 1.
This is great, because it gives us a basis for how Mira should act without relying on isat, where the differences could be explained by the change of circumstances (Mira faking being blessed vs thinking she is blessed, people being frozen vs the world literally ending). So, since we have that, let’s compare that moment to Mira’s speech in the forge back in loop 7.
Both events start with Mira saying that she’s going to save Dawn, but that’s where the similarities end.
In the forge, Mira seems to ignore any mistakes she made before, and to even dismiss them: “Do you doubt me that much? Come on, I got this.” In the other event, Mira does own up to missing the Director (“I know I fumbled with the bullets”), but says that she’ll find a solution by getting more bullets “somehow”. One side seems to be more sure of herself than the other.
Also, unlike the forge and Clocktower variants, Mira doesn’t mention her status as a blessed housemaiden even once. She does say that she will kill the Director, but never calls saving Dawn “[her] job”. It’s almost like one Mira is acting like the Savior, while the other is a friend who happens to be the Savior.
One more difference I noticed is that in the forge and Clocktower, Mira seems to almost order Dawn to feel better: “so don’t cry” and “so don’t worry” respectively. In the other version, Mira does tell Dawn that she needs them to stay strong, but she is more gentle about it: “Can you do that, for me?”
The second point I wanted to mention was Mira’s recollection of the time she got the Change symbol in her eyes in the Clocktower, during the forge game in loop 8.
This happens after the Twoie incident, when Dawn reaches the question about his greatest fear for the first time. While Mira’s answer of the Blood Curse being the fear in question makes sense with what she knows, her justification is what makes me think that something’s wrong.
Because the conversation she’s referring to is this one:
Now, I know this is the party of miscommunication, but I find it difficult to see Dawn lashing out at Isa and saying that he’s sorry he’s difficult to be around, only to summarize the conversation as “Siffrin just told me he’s scared because of their Curse.”
Inferring that the Curse is part of the reason why Dawn is lashing out is one thing, but thinking that mentioning having a few problems means they’re saying they’re scared of dying because of the Curse specifically is another.
In fact, when Mira started talking about saving Dawn, I felt like she was responding to another conversation entirely. And, if that’s the case, it looks like Mira remembered that potential “other conversation” instead of what really happened.
Now, we know that the Theater Curse can cause people to remember events which didn’t happen and vice versa, as we’ve seen with Dusk in the treasure hunt showing. Since that Curse is using Mind Craft, it would make sense for it to be able to do something similar.
If that’s the case, Mira misremembering what happened could be another indicator that she’s under Mind Craft when the Change symbol appears.
