2024 RECAP, 2025 PLAN
Hey there! Just a little check-in to say—I’m still here!
Another year has passed, and I’m kicking off 2025 with the same energy (maybe a little wiser, too). Stay tuned for more thoughts, stories, and hopefully, some good vibes ahead!
There are two sides to my annual reflection: (1) the part I share and (2) the part I keep for myself. The public side is what’s safe to put out there, the private one is the unfiltered, uncensored. No sugarcoating—just me, talking to me.
Biggest Milestone: I Can Swim! 🎉
Yes, finally! Planning a trip to Karimunjawa last September without knowing how to swim was the ultimate motivation. So, two months before the trip, I pushed myself hard—swimming three times a week. After that? I committed to swimming at least once a week until the end of the year, and I never missed a session. It’s crazy how much you can achieve when you have a clear goal and a deadline.
Career : Discovering The Art of Leadership
Still managing my team (I think I’m doing okay!). Last year, my team grew to 34 members across three sites—Salatiga, Bandung, and Lahore, Pakistan. More than anything, I focused on building a work environment that fosters collaboration and self-improvement. I think I’ve been able to help several team members grow into leadership roles, and that’s something I’m truly proud of.
One of my favorite leadership quotes? "Great leaders create more leaders."
Over the years, I feel like I’ve found the art of leadership. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll write a book about it someday.
Friendship & Networking: Quality Over Quantity
There’s a saying: "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."
Looking back, I think I’ve made wiser choices in how I spend my time and who I surround myself with. Whether it’s career conversations, post-work chill sessions, or being each other’s 911 in times of need, I’m grateful for the friendships I’ve nurtured.
Relationships? Well…
Let’s call it an anticlimax. Not as planned, but I’m more at peace with things not working out. Growth mindset, right?
One thing that keeps me sane? A simple mindset: "It’s your loss, not mine." 🙂
What I’ve learned: Focus on what you can control. Instead of chasing outcomes, work on yourself. Build your value, make connections, keep growing. The right opportunities (and people) will come.
"There’s no such thing as luck—luck is when preparation meets opportunity."
Spiritual Growth: A New Understanding
This year, I think I learned the meaning of "Nikmat Iman dan Islam." We often hear this phrase in Friday prayers, but understanding its depth and being genuinely grateful for it is a true blessing. Alhamdulillah.
2025: What’s Next?
Let’s see. I have a structured, detailed plan. Over the years, I’ve gained experience, built a system, and developed the discipline.
The difference between me now and me two or three years ago? I’ve grown. I’m more experienced, wiser, and better prepared than ever.
I’m more than ready.
2025 will be my year! 🚀
