The Illness and Injury Secret Santa idea I posted about earlier seems to be gaining quite a bit of interest so for this to actually happen I’d like to know how many people are actually considering to join. I’d like it to be at least 10 participants.

Okay, so before I spend my time planning this out in detail I probably should ask if there’s even any interest.  I am aware that I am just a small, unpopular blog but it’s still worth a try.

Soooo, my idea was a sort of Secret Santa event type thing for the I&I community.  Like, I could possibly set up a sideblog (or make an entirely separate one for this) where all the necessary info (participants, what each person’s characters, dos and don’ts would be and so on) Stuff would work via submission, so participants would submit their character refs and what kinda things they’d like and what they would rather not receive, which would then be appropriately tagged by me with their username for easy finding. Once I’d have all people randomly paired with someone to gift (thank god for random number generators and the like) I’d link each gifter to their recipent’s submission so they’ll have a guideline. That way said recipient wouldn’t know about this until their gift is done and submitted.

This would be open to writing and art and who knows what else you guys might suggest.

It’s still all just a rough idea as I just literally came up with this less than 30 minutes ago.

Nightmares

Once again it was late at night and Grey laid awake restless. Parker was sound asleep at their side and Grey would have given anything to join them, but that wasn't an option. They turned over again and again before finally falling into a restless sleep

 "Mom? Dad? I have something to tell you" Grey entered thier parents room shaking like a leaf 

"what is it Gracie?" Greys moms voice had a sweet tone of voice. Deep breaths Grey remind themselves 

" I'm not a girl." The words toppled out of their mouth, almost as fast as the flying fist hit their cheek. Ribs cracked, and covered in bruises thier mom finally, finally seemed statisfied 

"get out you ungrateful bitch!" 

Grey shot up gasping for air, and they fumbled for thier glasses. They weren't there, they were in the dorm. With Parker. They were safe.

Hello everyone! So I decided to start writing for my ocs and I would really like some prompts to start off with. My ocs are as follows 

Grey- they/them- 18 (19 on Friday!)

Grey is 4 11 with short lavender hair and blue eyes, and glasses. they are like the parent of the group and put others before themselves 

Parker- they/them- 19

Parker is 5 4 with short bright red hair brown eyes and glasses. They are the shy one of the group by far, and they are very observant of the world around them

Lily-she/her- 19 

Lily has light brown hair and green eyes. She is also the tallest of the group, being 5 8. She is a natural preformer and makers her way into everyone's hearts

the dawn of the sickfic / h/c writers' workshop

Hi, guys. J of @lickstynine here. This is a new blog I’ve just made, @torturing-characters-101, aka the Sickfic and H/C Writers’ Workshop.

The goal is to have a bunch of popular sickfic / h/c writers and aspiring sickfic / h/c writers come together to talk about technique, inspiration, ideas, resources, anything vaguely relevant to our writing.

I made this blog so that basically, all the writers that want to answer questions can become mods, and then the ones with questions can send asks and we answer them, as well as just posting tips and advice and whatnot. We may also reblog useful stuff like prompts/inspo/etc.

If you want to join as a mod, send me a message. If you have any questions, send a message or an ask.

Most importantly, if you think this is a good idea, please reblog. I want to get as many people involved as possible so we can turn this blog into a vast and knowledgeable resource.
