hi! my name is nova! i'm not new to tumblr but i wanted a fresh start and i finally had the inspiration to write again :D

filthy mouth

warnings: smoking/cigarettes, a tiny bit of c!crimeboys angst, barely proofread

inspiration: very loosely based on cigarettes out the window by tv girl

wilbur was always stressed. there wasn't a second he wasn't. the beginning of l'manberg was a huge ball of stress. constant headaches and fatigue. he saw schlatt smoking cigarettes and how he looked immediately calmed when he took that deep inhale. sure he coughed a lot afterward but it seemed worth it. wilbur eventually bought took a pack and smoked one when he was finally alone. he inhaled a bit too fast and had a coughing fit. after a couple minutes, he chuckled at himself and took another hit. this was nice, i could get used to this, he thought to himself. tommy ended up walking in mid inhale causing wilbur to almost choke to death. "are you...smoking?" tommy asked bewildered. "why yes tommy i am." wilbur said smoothly, blowing out smoke into his face. "what the- what the fuck wilbur?! stop doing that shit, that shit fucking kills, you know?" tommy shouted. "oh hush, it's only a one-time thing." wilbur replied, putting out the cigarette and walking away, throwing the butt behind him. it was supposed to be a one-time thing but everything got more stressful. he would come home from doing his duties, smoke, then brush his teeth to erase the smell of tobacco from his filthy mouth. one time, tommy came over to his house while wilbur just finished smoking. "wil? whatcha doing?" tommy asked. "uhh just brushing my teeth big guy!" wilbur shouted from the bathroom. "at 12 pm?" the blonde boy replied. wilbur walked out of the bathroom, wiping any leftover water and toothpaste with his sleeve. "hello tommy! what can i do for you?" wilbur chirped, ignoring tommy's comment from earlier. "just wanted to check up on you big man." tommy replied slowly. he was trying to observe the man in front of him. something was off. he breathed in, taking in the scent of wilbur. cigarettes. "i thought you quit?" tommy frowned. "i-i did! i did quit! i told you it was a one-time thing! what, you don't believe me? you know i would never lie to you!" wilbur said defensively, his voice booming throughout his house. this wasn't out of the ordinary for wilbur to defend himself like this. tommy backed away, putting his head down to avoid eye contact. "i'm sorry." he mumbled. "that's what i thought." wilbur replied proudly. "now if you'll excuse me, i have work to do." he continued, walking out the door with a trail of the smell of cigarettes following him.

Traitor

inspiration: today's lore on tubbo's stream + traitor by olivia rodrigo :)

One day, they were together, and the next day they’re against each other in a “friendly competition” that could ruin everything.

Today was the day Ranboo questioned Tubbo’s love for him. Didn’t Tubbo love him as much as Ranboo thought he did? Why would Tubbo give away their cookie outpost? Did it not mean anything to him? It only took Quackity and an offer, and he gave it away. Everything they built together meant nothing, just a waste of time. He felt betrayed. He couldn’t look him in the eyes anymore. Was Tubbo's life not good enough with Ranboo and Michael? The one person the enderboy trusted is against him, and it seems like he doesn’t care. “Awesome! Cool! That’s great!” Ranboo said erratically. Tubbo looks at him, startled by Ranboo’s voice. He reaches out to him, but Ranboo turns away, picking up some bread. “Oh, would you look at that! The bread is stale!” Ranboo says randomly. The tall boy turns away again. “I’m gonna go throw this out in the river, I’ll...I’ll talk to you later.” his voice was shaky. Then, he walked away. He wishes that he would’ve thought this through before he fell so hard for him. Maybe it was just him overthinking. Surely Tubbo cares about him, about them. Right?

It seems that both Tubbo and Ranboo don’t know how far Wilbur and Quackity will go just to keep their pride and how it will ruin their own relationship.

It was about 12 am when Tubbo heard shuffling next to him. He just brushed it off as Ranboo trying to get comfortable until the bed shifted. He sighed thinking that his husband was enderwalking again. He followed after the enderman a couple of minutes after, quietly so he doesn’t make too much noise. About 10 minutes later, he finally found Ranboo. He was laying down on the soft grass. Tubbo’s face softens then he sits down next to him. The tall boy sat up, “Bo? I didn't know you were here. Why are you up so early?” Ranboo asked. “Well, I could ask you the same thing. I thought you were enderwalking so I came to check on you." Tubbo said quietly. "So you followed me?" Ranboo teased. "Yes, exactly. I needed to make sure you're okay." the shorter boy replied, rolling his eyes. Ranboo chuckled, laying his head on Tubbo’s lap. Tubbo smiled softly, running his fingers through his husband’s hair. “So, did you wake up just to stargaze?” he asked. The enderboy hummed, “Yep, the stars looked brighter tonight so I thought I would go outside and just look at them.” he said, looking at the stars once again. “So, it was a stargazing type of night?” Tubbo chuckled. Ranboo nodded his head, smiling up at him.

It was a sunny day in Florida and 13-year-old Clay and Nick were playing at the park. Clay was sitting on the grass while  Nick was on the swing. The brown-haired boy got bored, jumping off the swing and tackling his best friend. Clay groaned, “What is your problem?”. Nick shrugged and laughed a bit, getting off of Clay. The dirty blonde-haired boy shook his head, laughing. “Hey Clay?”  Nick spoke up. “Yeah?” Clay replied. “What if by the time we’re 30, if we don’t have girlfriends, we get married?” he asked. “That’s such a dumb idea. Let’s do it.” Clay laughed. The brown-haired boy stuck out his hand. “Let’s shake on it, ‘kay?” he said. his best friend nodded, taking his hand and shaking it. “It’s getting late, we should head back,” Clay said, realizing how late it was.

It was finally Clay’s birthday. Nick has been waiting so long for this day, it felt like a dream come true. He had the ring ready and the other gift, a ticket to a Gator’s game. “Nick!” Clay yelled. He ran up to him to engulf him in a bear hug. The man jumped, hiding the ring quickly. “C-Clay! Hey! Happy birthday, man.” Nick said, his words coming out muffled. “Thanks. I can’t believe I’m 30 now. Time goes by fast, huh?” Clay pulled away, shaking his head in disbelief. “Heh, yeah..anyway, so-”  Nick reached into his pocket. “Clay I-” “Baby! There you are. Happy birthday.” George said in a sing-songy voice, pecking the tall man on the lips. “George! I haven’t announced it yet.” he hissed. “Announce what?”  Nick asked, his heart already dropping. “George and I are dating.” Clay smiled, grabbing his boyfriend’s hand and leaning down to kiss him on the lips. “Oh..congrats.” he smiled sadly, shoving the box into his pocket once again. “Well, I gotta go. Alex needs me for something. Your gift is on the table.”  Nick said, trying to make sure his voice doesn’t crack in between words. He felt pathetic, making up some dumb excuse just to not see George and Clay laughing and kissing. “Oh. Bye Nick, love you!” his best friend yelled while he walked out the door.
