Janet and Hank's dynamic post divorce when written well drives me so pyscho crazy.

Meeting each other was the single most important event of both of their lives. Janet would not be the Wasp without Hank, and Hank would have never been an Avenger without Janet. They inspired each other like no other. They fought, grew and loved together, and have a kind of symbiosis that can't be taught, only developed through effort and care and love. And the relationship is over and it will never be the same but the effects of it are still there. They still can tell what the other is thinking at just a glance. They can communicate through sheer expression and intuition alone. There's nobody else they are more in time with, nobody else who they can anticipate and gel with both on and off the battlefield. There's a closeness they'll never get with anyone else, a closeness that's only built from being synonymous with each other for decades.

But the relationship is over. It will never be the same again. It will always be a shadow of it's former self. And they catch themselves thinking about going back and longing for what was, remembering how it felt to have someone they could rely on constantly–but the relationship is over and they know that. And even though it sometimes feels lesser, like they're missing out on what was (and in many ways, still is) the most important relationship of their lives, there's a lot of joy and comfort to be find in what is. They'll never be Ant-Man and the Wasp again, but being just Ant-Man, and the Wasp, separate but friends, can maybe be enough also.

I really do think Hank Pym could be a sufferer of chronic pain. It's not a big stretch to get there. He's constantly dealing with pain whenever he changes his size in some of these old 70s comics. And let's be honest here: changing your size would hurt like hell. The bones would be constantly growing and shrinking. I would expect the body to end up feeling constant agony from all the changes. That's one thing I've taken away from Hank Pym: size changing is a horribly dangerous game, and nobody should be doing it.

people always talk about evil clones like oooh a dark mirror oohh what if you saw what a cruel person you were/are capable of becoming. and well yes but what if you were the evil clone. what if you looked in the mirror and what you saw was so bright it blinded you. what if you had to know exactly how good you could have been.
