This feels so surreal. As I watch myself I can’t help but remember the feeling I had in that very moment. I lose myself onstage, I just do it. I have come far and understand AND accept graciously that there’s still more to learn/improve on. What’s amazing are the people involved in success (for anyone.) People like @dejad_dellataro , @lunalegareburlesque , and @djselinastyle who create fabulous opportunities for artists like me to perform. I am deeply humbled that I was asked to be part of such a magical night. Not only that, but my drag Ohana who performed with me. My inspirational drag mom @nvmi_gendercide who is just a ball of talent and a constant symbol of growth to my eye. @xoxotisnikkimarie who is one of the strongest and empowering women I e ever met, seriously never stop being you because the world is better with you in it. @dylan_coale gosh, you’re so amazing and you make my ma happier then ever. What do think of my Jekyll and Hyde look? For me, this look has grown a lot. It started out basic when I first performed this. I was more concerned with the performance itself. After my second time— I was still concerned but I tweaked it a bit. This time I finally cultivated something fully realized and really wanted to showcase the performance with something visual.
