“I enrolled actually, at that state school? Business and music production. It’s like part in person part online, I’m starting courses next week”

“I definitely need an escape, just for a little while.”

As they climb into the truck, November pushes up the center console of the front seats. It’s always been one of her favorite features — the front is just a bench and an easy to convert, as she gets the engine going

“Can we get those vegan loaded fries?”

“Mmm, just feeling it a little. Finding it harder to have time to draw or dance.”

It helps me not be terrified I’m gonna make a wrong move every second and…” she touches Novie’s cheek. “And I hope you know that I have never felt unhappy because you’re ace, baby. Novie wanders over to where November and the rest of the band are hanging out after the show.

She smiles confidently, not immediately shrinking into her girlfriend’s embrace. She slips their hands together and kisses Mem on the cheek.

“Hey baby,” Mem grins, ruffling her hair softly. “You’re getting so confident huh? I’m proud of my best girl,” she hums, kissing her hair. “Like the show?”

Novie blushes a little, giggling.

“You were amazing my love.” She leans onto Mem’s shoulder.

“Mmmm… why thank you pretty thing,” she grins. “I’m always glad when you decide to come see the same songs again”

“Needed a study break.” She murmurs.

“Besides, I love hearing you sing.”

“Speaking of which, how’s the studying going? If you feel like you wanna chat. I definitely get wanting to ignore it for a while,” November chuckles.

“I enrolled actually, at that state school? Business and music production. It’s like part in person part online, I’m starting courses next week”

“That’s amazing! I’m so proud of you!” Novie beams happily.

“I definitely need an escape, just for a little while.”

She nuzzles Novie’s neck lightly, smiling. “Wanna grab some food after this? Find some lake to park by?”

“Sounds perfect.” Novie sighs.

“C’mon then,” Mem grins, pulling her girlfriend out the door

As they climb into the truck, November pushes up the center console of the front seats. It’s always been one of her favorite features — the front is just a bench and an easy to convert, as she gets the engine going

“Can we get those vegan loaded fries?”

She grins, wrapping an arm around her girlfriend’s shoulders. “Absolutely, they’re the best
