I have a real love/hate relationship with Byredo... Even though the bottles are black and white, Byredo is the millennial pink of fragrance lines. It is ubiquitous and unisex and utilitarian while still providing a deep sense of calm that yes, you are making correct aesthetic choices for your exact moment in time. It is an easy cool, which is perhaps why I have never felt quite in step with it.

1. Like many thousands of others, I went to see Adele and she was beyond sensational. Her voice is just killer; probably the best I've heard live. 2. Sometimes at work you are just gently reminded that you are good at what you do and you do enjoy it. 3. I'm sick of this heat. You had your chance summer, let autumn have a go. 4. There was a bit of a clothes buying spree this week. Nothing expensive but not helpful when I'm trying to cull. 5. KFC. It's the taste of fucken regret, why do I do it? 1. One day my opportunity will knock. I just have to be ready to answer the door and not give up in the mean time. 2. I'm feeling overwhelmed by my clothes. There's so much and so much that I don't fully utilise. This will be a project for me this year. 3. The exhaustion was real this week. 4. I had a credit card extension approved so I feel a bit more relaxed about having enough money on my trip. 5.
