Very successful stream last night, thank you to everyone who popped in!

I wasn't feeling too great but as soon as I got into the groove of the stream I felt...just a lot better. Wild but nifty! Streaming has honestly been a very fun experience for me so far and I'm ever so grateful that everyone is staying chill and vibing while I awkwardly goof around.

But Kenshi!

I freaking love Kenshi!!!

I'm trying to recruit (kidnap) npcs to name after my followers and I was able to recruit (kidnap) Lich_Locke and Misterdval so far! The rest of you will happen soon I'm sure, which brings me to my next point!

Special thanks to Thellek for following my awkward little crew and bantering with me about the many many MANY merits of the game because the Southern Hive is that neat. I need to see if I can make another run to the Secret Drug Farm so I'll be in the area to get you your bug boi!

I've not been streaming at my posted times recently due to some wickedly horrible mental health. I'm perfectly safe and taken care of but I do not know if I have the energy to play games or be on stream in a way that is positive rather than forced. I want my streams to be a fun, gentle, silly kind of space for everyone and that includes me so I try and listen to myself when I'm feeling Tired like this.

I am very excited for my next stream (this evening hopefully) because a dear friend has helped me work on some technical stuff and I'm looking forward to testing it all out!

If I do stream this evening it will likely be a comfort game like Elden Ring or Kenshi

I've also updated my morning stream times because it seems that 7am is a bit too early for most traffic and I am sleepy.

I finally finished editing and exporting (mostly exporting) the highlights from last weeks streams! Thank you to everyone who popped into the streams and kept me company while I practice speaking for so long and tried to stay silly, fun-loving, and mellow. (Special thanks to Auntie Val and Lich-Locke for the tech support!)

Special thanks to Val for being ever so brave and keeping me company despite the fear and to Blue who knows way more about the ocean than everyone I know combined but still entertained my (funky fresh) descriptions of ocean flora and fauna!

I may just finish the early access off stream because after about 9 hours of gameplay I can't imagine there's too much more to do. That being said I will be uploading some stream highlights to YouTube either tomorrow or saturday! This way even if I finish a game off stream I'll still be able to share it with everyone who's interested, minus all the hyperfocused silence though I promise 😅

One of the things I'm noticing about Twitch is that people will pop into my stream, ignore the no soliciting chat rule, and ask for my discord or offer graphic design services. On the one hand I dont mind people on the grind doing their thing but also in the same vein boy howdy am I completely uninterested any offer that happens while I'm streaming. My below poverty line butt is going to keep doing all this for as little as possible for as long as possible! It just means that things are a little widdley as I figure out how Linux performs differently with some of the software I'd like to use for editing and graphic design, and thats part of the fun!
