love the idea of soothing someone into submission. you've had a long day, sweetheart, why don't you let me do the thinking for a bit? i know you like to be in control, but it can be exhausting. surely you've earned a little relaxation after all your hard work. don't you want to rest a bit? unclench your jaw, relax your muscles, let your legs fall open. i want the only thought in that lovely head to be how good you feel.

((With the ball quickly approaching, I thought I could post some newbie knightblr/medievalblr advice:

- It's okay to be unsure what direction you want to take with your character. You may try a few things and drop them later. It's fine. Pretend it's the awkward phase early in a show where characterization is not settled!

- That being said, try to give your character a little flavour. Something that people will remember and associate with them. It will help them think "oooh, X should be in this" and incorporate you into their stories.

- A pinned post with basic character info and what you are ok with goes a long way to let people feel more secure in approaching you.

- People here are way generally very open in my experience. But you got to give them something to work with. I get that taking the first step is scary, but if you don't interact or signal that it's fine to interact with you, no one is going to read your mind.

- Don't make a big deal out of it, I swear it's fine. If you aren't sure about something, ask. I remember literally getting a post @'ing me and the person freaked out when I responded. So I never interacted again, because I don't want to be responsible for your anxiety attack. Nobody is a celebrity here, please be chill.

- I find that humour is a great way to invite interaction at lower stakes. Once people realize they can add to your posts and have a nice funny moment, it's much easier to go on to more elaborate rp.

- Respect people's boundaries. Goes without saying but I'm saying it anyway. ESPECIALLY if you are a minor. A lot of knightblr/medievalblr blogs don't interact with minors or people under a certain age because they post mature content. If you don't respect that you are being a little shit and I'm gonna give you a wedgie.))
