Rex and Reece - Rumour Has It

Rex was out on his day, to secure a arms deal with a Private Military Company. Wearing a strapping suit and, as always his pitch black sunglasses to hide his eyes. Once inside the office, which had a wonderful view of the city below, the talks started. About half-way through the talks he noticed the glint and that’s when he noticed the glass shattering and the round going straight into his head and hitting the ground…. Nice shot. seconds later he sits up going for his shades until he saw that the broke, his gaze suddenly going over to where the shot came from and disappearing in a plume of flames.

Reece lifted his eye from the scope, then swung the sniper rifle over his shoulder. There was still a bit of a mess, but that didn't matter. Simple as--

Movement caught his eye and he looked again, leaning forward. Slowly, his hazel eyes opening wide with horror as the target got back up again. "What the hell...!?" He blinked and the target disappeared into flames and smoke.

He stepped back, then reached back for his desert eagle and pulled it out quietly, listening close and hard for any sound that would give away his target's position.

Rex and Reece - Rumour Has It

There rumours of he was a demon, but Reece didn't care. He was a contract, a means of money, and that was all he cared about. So, when all the workers cowered at the contract, Reece took the leadership (it was good to inspire and intimidate those who would be working for him one day, after all) and accepted the contract himself.

Whether or not this Rex guy was even a demon, it didn't bother him any. Rex was just another target -- a target he could see right now. Carefully aiming his AS50 semi-automatic sniper, he trained his crossheirs at the target's head, only a glint of the sunlight off the scope giving his position before he pulled the trigger and the bullet shot out with a resonating bang.

Sazerac and Reece - DRABBLE - Sand

He spotted him across the street.

Sazerac. A funny name, Reece always thought. A funny name for a funny man, but he kind of liked him. Sazerac was a complete mystery to him. However, he had heard his organization had been taken down by some idiot detective by the name of Shinichi Kudou.

Ha. Sounded familiar.

The Osakan teen was walking with two other girls and another male. He seemed to have been enjoying himself. To Reece, it seemed very odd, but it seemed to suit him more than any scowl on his face or gun in his hand.

He trailed his partner until he was alone - the male trotted off somewhere and the two females decided to go to the bathroom together. Slowly, Reece approached the male from behind and grabbed his shoulders.

The teen whipped around and Reece laughed. "Boy, you're jumpy when you're not in suit, are ya? Eh. If this is your real fashion sense, then you need some serious help."

He tore his eyes from the Osakan's outfit and glanced at the confused set of green-blue eyes. "Who're ya?"

"What?" Reece laughed. "Don't remember me? Reece? Johnson? Ring any bells? Don't tell me you play stupid outside of your little organization. Or is it because the place fell you have to pretend you don't know anything? Sazerac?"

The Osakan blinked, and glared at the other male. "Wha'd y'call me? Mah name ain' Saz'rac. It's Heiji. Hattori Heiji."

"That's your real name!?" Reece chuckled, rather surprised he would actually tell him. Maybe it was a cover name? "I thought you would never open up and tell me!"

Heiji stared at him for a while longer, completely and utterly confused. Reece stood awkwardly. What was wrong with him?

"Heiji?"

The two young girls had returned, and seemed rather worried. Maybe it was the look Heiji was giving them. Reece returned his gaze to Heiji and blinked. "You honestly don't remember? Are you...serious?"

"Look here, y'obviously got th'wrong guy!"

Reece blinked. This wasn't funny anymore. "What did they do, erase your memory or something!?"

Heiji suddenly seemed really shocked. "W-Wha' d'y'know 'bout what's been goin' on wit' me?! D'y'know why-"

Reece backed up a step. "No! Geez, never mind. I guess I mistook for you for someone else." He turned his heel and walked off, leaving the boy and the two girls dumbfounded.

So...that was it, wasn't it? In a last ditch effort to save himself, he erased his own memories and continued to lead the better of his double life. Reece stopped somewhere down the street and risked a glance back.

Heiji had been rejoined with his initial group of friends and they continued into a nearby restaurant.

Such the life of an assassin. There wasn't really any room for friends in his division to begin with.

And, just like Joey, he watched his only friend disappear like a grain of sand released by a palm into the depths of the ocean. Left to be forgotten.

Reece turned on his heel and head back to base, forgetting it all ever happened and continuing on with life has he had been before.

Kazu and Reece - Dusting Off The Welcome Mat

Just as Reece thought. A lost teenager with no sense of danger. That, or the boy was incredibly stupid. “You aren’t supposed to be here,” he said, standing up.

Well, this could prove to be a problem. However, he wasn’t one for pointless bloodshed. “Listen. I will have you personally escorted from this building, but should you return - without the need of a contract - or speak a word of this place to the police, you shall be wiped from the face of the Earth.”

Yes, this could be a horrid problem. They would have to keep a close eye on the boy. Perhaps a new contract would be in order. But would killing him really be necessary? It could prove to be the waste of a bullet, for sure.

Should the boy breathe a word to any person, they could be discovered and would be run out of their base, forced to refuge until further notice, and rebuild themselves again. Maybe ridding of him would be best…

However, he was feeling generous that day. He would let the boy live, for now. But, he would keep an eye on the male. As annoying as it was.

Reece glanced at the injured ankle of the lost male but spoke none of it. “Let’s go.”

Before he even had a chance to explain himself and the situation that had brought him inside the building, Kazu was assaulted with a long monologue and what definitely resembled a threat or two mixed in as well. Hey hey, was this guy for real? He didn’t look much older than Kazu himself was and certainly not very intimidating. Him spouting big words like ‘personally escorted’ and ‘wiped from the face of the Earth’ made Kazu think of something straight out of one of those spy films.

Oh so that was how it was. This guy was probably some director’s kid or something who was waiting for his daddy to finish work and decided to pull a prank on a random passer-by who obviously didn’t have business with the company. All in all Kazu was being taken for a fool. Just about to give into his temper and pull the douchebag down the collar to tell him a thing or two about respect, the brunette innocently continued his little game apparently unknowing of the fact that Kazu had already lured him out.

If this was how he wanted to play the game, so be it. Deciding that throwing punches could wait for later, the young teen sucked up the pain from his ankle, not wanting to show his own weakness mostly due to pride than anything, and followed the older guy through the building and out on the street.

Having expected this to be the end of it, Kazu stood a bit dumbfounded as the guy didn’t just return to the building they had just emerged from and left him alone. “Ehm… Hold on… Where are you taking me?”

"Outside," Reece mumbled.

Was this kid stupid or what? He glanced at the ankle. Just from the sheer way he wobbled on, that must've hurt. He paused for a moment to examine the moron before pointing down a road. "The hospital is ten minutes that way. Maybe you can hitch a ride from a couple of good-hearted citizens."

He stood where he was, folding his arms. If he wasn't working - much so in the middle of assigning himself a contract - he might have taken the stupid kid himself. Work before personal business.

After all, he would one day be running Noxious/Aries all on his own, and he would be much further respected than he is now. Before he could do that, he needed to show his father he could handle it.

"Got it? Now, scram."

Nicolette and Reece - Eye Witness

Reece had very little time. The target moved far too often for him to lock on safely without accidentally shooting someone else. It was becoming very annoying. The details were to eliminate the target before 1800 struck on the twenty-four clock.

The assassin found a good hiding place up in the second floor of a rundown apartment building. It would do for the mission. If he failed a long-distance kill, he would need to go in close and prepare for a hefty chase.

He peered through his scope, searching for his target; a fifty year old business man with a million dollars in his briefcase. Finally, the man‘s head was in his cross heirs. Now was for the initial kill.

He had killed many times before. This would be no different. All contracts were the same. Every single one of them. The Canadian had never been seen or caught before during a contract... He always thought he was invisible.

The trigger was pulled and the bullet shot faster than the eye could see. Reece looked up from his scope and admired his handiwork. Another contract complete. Now was for his escape.

Reece turned and bolted down the stairwells to the first floor, heading out into an alleyway. He turned and watched people rush one way or another at the sound of the shot. They were scattered.

He was invisible. At least, for the most part... So he thought...

Reece shook his head. “You’re not much of a talker, are you?” he said quietly. Whether or not Sazerac heard him, he didn’t care. “What about music? You like anything in particular?”

Reece didn’t have much of a taste in music one way or another, so whatever Sazerac wanted to listen to, he would probably be fine with. The more he found out about the visiting stranger, the more he could relax about visiting a foreign country for business with a company he was entirely unsure of.

It bothered him slightly, to be doing so, but set himself back into a careless mindset and focus on the new agent’s reply. Not to mention he could probably find out more about Sazerac simply through small talk.

Whatever made him so interested in Sazerac was completely beyond him. He just felt like he needed to get to know him. Maybe because Sazerac showed up out of the blue and changed everything.

Sazerac wouldn’t have been the first person to do so.

Maybe he was just interested because he was someone Reece knew nothing about. There was no file to look at, no name to research. Hardly even a name to go by. Still, however, he would press for what he could.

Reece figured that he probably just couldn’t stand not knowing. That had to be it. He couldn’t not know, or it would drive him insane.

“I ain’ exactly what ya call a group worker.”

It seemed perfectly natural for someone to know whom they were working with. Sazerac always tried to have half a mind to know the dealings of his targets and how to go about making sure their elimination looked to be an accident or a suicide. The agent knew perfectly well that he wasn’t going to get that kind of information handed to him on a silver platter all the time, whether that would be because it simply wasn’t there or because he wasn’t permitted. He, of course, knew very well of what he could and couldn’t disclose under the Organization’s orders. This was an entirely different matter.

“Not really. I’m fine with anythin’ fer now so long as it’s lyric-less.” Personal matters were certainly a different matter entirely. That was ultimately up to him, as was how much (or how little, in this case) he wanted someone to know about the counterpart he protected. When he did come to think of it though, what his wants and un-wants weren’t exactly the same as that idiot detective’s wants and un-wants. The agent masqueraded as that fool long enough to know his tastes weren’t exactly eye-to-eye with his, be it because of their contrasting lifestyles or otherwise.

Still, the specifications escaped him; his possessively protective nature with this reckless counterpart did a good job in helping with such a hindrance, not that he was fully aware of that. In a way, Sazerac knew as much about himself as Reece did. Sure, there was a file and some notes, but that was all objectively noted; no opinions of the sort and if there were any noticeable reasons they’d probably be redacted to the eyes of those without any clearance. It was an odd shame in the matter that a great deal of him didn’t exactly care of what he did in his spare time other than think of ways to fill out his main duty of protection.

Reece huffed. He himself wasn't much of a friendly person himself. Well, he was friendly, he supposed, but he wasn't exactly the type to care enough about someone to account them as a friend.

Sometimes, it worked out to be vise versa; where the other person thought of him as a friend. More than enough times during school he had to deal with a very annoying boy or girl who was also alone and didn't want to be.

He played savior and kind, but never cared enough about them to really help them with anything. Once they realized how empty the relationship truly was (whether it took them days or months), they left him to his fashion magazines and drawings of outfits he figured would look nice together.

Reece lead a lonely childhood, but he liked it that way. That was how he worked, too. Alone, and without any help or any friends. He assumed Sazerac was like that, too. Alone, with whatever magazine or book he read, paper he wrote, or drawing he painted.

Sazerac liked being alone, too, clearly. They liked being alone. That was how he wanted to keep it. Reece almost wondered if Sazerac had someone he cared about.

"Wonderful," he mumbled, then pressed a button that connected him to the chauffeur. "Dean, put on some music, eh? No instrumentals, and no rap."

"Understood," came the reply, and in a few moments, some easy-listening danced through the speakers. Good enough, he supposed. At least it broke the awkward silence.

Sazerac clearly wasn't in the mood for talking, and Reece was done pressing. If he wanted to talk, he could start a conversation.

”Sazerac, eh?” He blinked, then leaned back against the seat. “You can just call me Reece, then. Instead of Mr. Johnson. I hate being called that.” Funny thing was, most people addressed him as such. Maybe it annoyed him. Yeah, it is annoying.

He sighed and glanced at Sazerac again. “Care for a drink or something?” He opened a refrigerator that was built into the seat between them and offered him a selection.

”The legal drinking age in Canada is nineteen, so if you’re nineteen, you can drink anything. Aside from that, we got Coke, Pepsi, Ginger Ale - the Canada Dry kind. Don’t worry, it’s really good. - Root Beer - which is my favorite - and some different flavors of Crush.”

He pulled himself out a Root Beer and snapped it open with the slight pressure of his finger. Clearly from ‘you can drink anything,’ he was referring to the very small selection of alcohol in the refrigerator.

”We normally don’t offer alcoholic drinks to the staff. We like them sober and aware of what they’re doing. So, they can only have non-alcoholic drinks during a contract. But, for visitors like yourself, you’re offered anything.”

He would have taken something alcoholic, but he didn’t feel like drinking at the moment. Maybe when they were on the plane…

He certainly wasn’t nineteen, but mum was the word on his age to begin with, anyway. His hoarfrost gaze scanned the selection of drinks and, while he certainly would’ve liked to indulge the thought of drinking brandy to keep himself “awake,” he could “abuse” that idea while once they were on the plane. Instead, he reached for the simple bottle of water instead, as it would take little effort to open it while his gloves were on as opposed to a can of soda or tea. The dark-skinned agent would easily dispose of it once at the airport.

” ‘f that’s what ya want.” If he wanted to be addressed as plainly with no one around, Sazerac would do as the N/A agent wishes. A shame he couldn’t quite be so trusting, especially when providing his true identity would more than likely break his cardinal rule of protecting that ahou.

”We’ll be stopping at my place on the way there. It won’t interfere with our trip, and I won’t take long.” He slid in beside 8102 and put on his seat belt. Safety first, he supposed. He’d rather be a living agent than a cool one.

Dean closed the window between him and the two agents so they could have some privacy and he could focus on driving.

Reece sighed, almost as though he was relieved he no longer had to hold up such a professional face. He leaned back against the seat and closed his eyes. There was a moment of silence, before Reece regained his professional composure and turned back to 8102.

It would be a short ride before they arrived at his apartment, then to the airport, and the plane ride… He would be spending a lot of time with 8102.

”What’s your actual name?” he asked. “And don’t you dare tell me I can’t know. If we’re going to be working together, then we need trust. And I’m not going to be addressing you as 8102, anyway, so unless you want me to give you a name, you should tell me it.”

This guy was the only one who had accompanied him on a ‘contract’.

(Well, there were two technicalities; what they just did wasn’t exactly a contract, but they did work together and they were treating like it were a contract, so it didn’t matter. And the second technicality was that 8102 wasn’t the only person to work with him on a contract.)

Reece would have liked the name of the agent he was working with. After all, they would be spending quite a few hours together. And, 8102 knew his name, too, so it was only fair.

Even after the window had been closed and privacy granted to them this agent calling himself 8102 remained professionally tense, with his arms crossed and gaze fixed upon the setting on the other side of the window. True; trust was needed if an allegiance was to be formed, but he was the last person needed as a delegate to all of this. His identity would be a compromise, his whole existence was a compromise. Besides, he worked best alone; having an extra person to lug around was just going to hinder him more than help.

The Japanese agent kept silent for quite a while before reluctantly replying, “Sazerac. Ya can call me Sazerac. Take it or leave it. That’s as far as ya’ll be permitted, anyway.” That was as far as he could go, even with superiors’ clearance. The name of his reckless charge and the life he lead was a bit of a secret despite his affiliation with the Osakan police, even to the higher-ranking members with a codename.

Reece scratched his chin, ignoring whatever was occurring until he was addressed. He glanced at what once was Schneider, almost impressed by 8102’s blunt form of killing.

”[Not an issue,]” he replied casually, then turned to the nearest door and called in several agents. “[Please send for a clean-up crew. And you,]” he gestured to one of the agents, Allison Farmridge. “[can take charge of the phone and ingoing/outgoing contracts until the Director returns from his contract in Germany.]”

He then returned to 8102. “[I don’t have anything I need to pick up. I have everything with me. And, I can just buy clothes there. What is the fashion in Japan like, anyway?]”

The Canadian turned and lead 8102 out of the room before the cleaning crew could arrive and walked out the nearest door. He usually kept his wallet and passport on hand in case of an emergency (actually, he withdrew it from the desk before leaving to eliminate Schneider) so he was already prepared.

He lead 8102 down to an elevator and entered it, pressing a button that took them to the parking lot. “[There is an agent at the airport, awaiting a ride, so I hope you don’t mind taking one of our available transports.]”

The elevator doors open and Reece smiled at the choice of car their chauffeur had chosen to escort the agent and their guest.

”[It’s the newest model of the Dodge Charger. It’s not the best we have, but we do need a four-seated car that doesn’t attract too much attention. Well, unless you would like to take the Cadillac Converj.]” Reece seemed excited about the idea.

The chauffeur, Dean Melita, stepped out of the vehicle. He was a young appearing man, somewhere in his early twenties. He had recently started and was given the position as a chauffeur to do while he was finishing his training.

He opened the door and Reece gestured for 8102 to take a seat inside the vehicle. “After you,” he offered in Japanese.

“…I suggest that, unless you like wearing that one suit for your stay, you bring another set of clothing from here. The styles that are in are…peculiar, and that’s putting it lightly.” That would explain why the N/A agent commented on his wear—an interest in fashion seemed certainly odd to the Osakan agent, but that was something he wouldn’t verbally question. There were many within his own ranks who had odd tastes, pursued eccentric deeds or objects; no doubt that would be the same anywhere else in the world.

8102 followed suit of Reece with little fuss—the sooner they were away, the better. “That’s fine.” This almost felt like one of his escorted missions—the missions he was assigned to after he’d been deemed stable enough to start. The sort of missions, to his memory, required the mandatory procedure of identifying the target before and after the kill was done—a process to him that seemed drawn out and unnecessary. He made a mental note to request that he no longer be involved with missions requiring such delegations; the time limits he worked with were hard enough without crunching time zones into the issue.

“I have no preference with the way we are going there.” No, no preference, indeed. Preference was only really paid attention to when you’d made a name for yourself, and the Kansai agent apparently hadn’t made that yet despite his bestowed codename. He’d be in other places, otherwise, or hell—he probably wouldn’t exist.

A quirked brow was offered to Reece as he spoke in his native tongue and slid in with a quick mumble of thanks. The agent calling himself 8102 figured as much that the agents of an assassin’s organization should be well-versed in some other languages.

Reece had a fashion magazine open on his desk, looking it over. Occasionally he made an affirmative or negative hum if he liked or disliked an outfit. “Beyonce, what were you thinking…?”

He closed the magazine and turned his gaze up to the male who entered N/A headquarters. He blinked once and rested his chin in his hand. He examined them, taking in their appearance at full force, allowing the information to soak in.

They looked alright, he supposed. “You don’t look like the type to want someone dead,” he said honestly. “Who’re you?”

A tiny oil spill on the road. He had battled bloodthirsty Storm Riders, conquered tall walls and reached speeds beyond human physical capabilities and yet a tiny little oil spill was enough of an instakill to send Kazu crashing down and spraining an ankle quite badly. No matter the amount of swearing and cursing that left his mouth he could barely support his own weight on the foot right now, let alone walk or trek his way back home. Fucking shithead workers not cleaning up after themselves. And this road was even so good for ATs.

So for now he would have to seek out help, no matter how shameful it was. Fortunately it seemed he had crash landed just outside some office building or something, so help should be quick to get. Or at least if they could just let him rest it out and he’d be off again in no time, mainly just sucking up the pain until he got back home and could put a proper bandage on.

Venturing into the building, he soon got overwhelmed with an irksome feeling of not belonging there at all. A middle school brat barging into a serious work environment, this was all very uncomfortable. The blonde teen limped his way around for a bit, unsure of who he should address until finally a voice sounded, catching his attention. The source of the voice appeared to be a guy, older than Kazu was but he still couldn’t be more than a teenager. “Huh?” Kazu asked, not sure if he had heard the words right. “Why would I want someone dead?”

Reece didn’t blink twice as 8102 dashed passed him and stabbed the traitor with a blinding motion. Schneider was too shocked to make much of a move, and the man collapsed with the Japanese agent’s attack.

8102 was strong. Reece had accounted so from the beginning. If 8102’s superiors were just as strong - if not stronger - then they would account as a powerful ally. And much so, as they discovered a rat within N/A’s ranks.

Perhaps Noxious/Aries would need a much tighter security system, and a much tighter hold on it’s members. It appeared Reece would have some paperwork to fill out. Both for the former agent’s death and for the new security system that would need to be put in place.

Not to mention the relocation of members would be a preferred idea, as he did not want any agents turning up arrested or killed during contracts or in their private lives.

Well, he supposed it a good learning experience. If he was to be the official Director of Noxious/Aries one day, then he would need to know how to deal with such unfortunate situations.

Reece sighed and scratched the back of his head, allowing 8102 the glory of the kill. After all, it was more his contract as he asked permission from Reece.

When it seemed the other man made no move to finish the rat, the dark-skinned agent fished a phone from one of his pockets and dialed a number, glancing at the time upon the device before pressing it to his ear. He absentmindedly nudged the N/A agent on the floor with the tip of his foot as he waited for the other line to pick up. “It’s me,” he says curtly and politely, back in his own native language. “Th’ target’s been taken care of.”

This is of course something he says so casually as he suddenly brought down that foot onto Schneider’s skull with a loud crack. “Positive. Identity’s been confirmed an’ they’ve been erased. They’re considerin’ th’ offer, but’re wantin’ a delegate ta accompany me back an’ discuss further dealin’s.” He slowly moved his foot away from the crushed man’s head and wiped it against the clothing covering the corpse, in case some bodily substances stuck to his shoe. No doubt he’d be cleaning that later in a more thorough manner, but it was best to get rid of what he could now—and what better way to rid himself of filth by ridding it upon their clothing?

8102 remained silent as the other person on the line spoke to him while his expression changed little, save for one quirk of a brow as his new orders were issued to him. With a respectful mumble of “…Understood,” before hanging up the agent stepped away from the mess of the corpse, the object of which was probably pooling some amount of blood beneath the head by now. He fixed his gaze upon the other man and relayed the information passed down onto him. “The orders given to you by your father will be permitted; we will need to leave immediately, however, as my time here on foreign land was short to begin with and our flight will be leaving quite soon.”

He traveled with nothing but his passport, a spare set of clothing and the items required to have his task completed. The clothing was easily burned and the information… well, he presumed this allied organization would be very interested in having some semblance of evidence that he as the messenger was not falsely accusing their members as rat traitors. Getting past the international protocol of airlines, that would leave him with two hours, give or take. It was enough time to “bond with the delegate,” as his superiors instructed him to do so within reasonable details, and have enough time to deal with shutdown sequence. How he’d be retriggered again, he wasn’t sure, but at this point the agent had very little reason not to trust the will of his superiors.

Reece scratched his chin, ignoring whatever was occurring until he was addressed. He glanced at what once was Schneider, almost impressed by 8102's blunt form of killing.

"[Not an issue,]" he replied casually, then turned to the nearest door and called in several agents. "[Please send for a clean-up crew. And you,]" he gestured to one of the agents, Allison Farmridge. "[can take charge of the phone and ingoing/outgoing contracts until the Director returns from his contract in Germany.]"

He then returned to 8102. "[I don't have anything I need to pick up. I have everything with me. And, I can just buy clothes there. What is the fashion in Japan like, anyway?]"

He lead 8102 down to an elevator and entered it, pressing a button that took them to the parking lot. "[There is an agent at the airport, awaiting a ride, so I hope you don't mind taking one of our available transports.]"

The elevator doors open and Reece smiled at the choice of car their chauffeur had chosen to escort the agent and their guest.

"[It's the newest model of the Dodge Charger. It's not the best we have, but we do need a four-seated car that doesn't attract too much attention. Well, unless you would like to take the Cadillac Converj.]" Reece seemed excited about the idea.

He opened the door and Reece gestured for 8102 to take a seat inside the vehicle. "After you," he offered in Japanese.

The Canadian paced down the hall beyond the door he left, posture strong and rifle settled on his back. As the Director’s son, he needed to have presence and professionalism. Otherwise, he would be seen as some annoying child given the wrong position.

He held his head up high as he proceeded down the white hall. 8102 attracted stares from the other assassin’s, clearly due to the way he dressed. While Reece was the only one who wanted to appear well dressed, a new member who took up upon Reece’s choice of outfit must have been crazy.

And anyone crazy was worth staring at.

Still, Reece continued on, not really caring about the staring eyes. “[If you’re to be affiliated with us,]” he began. “[and start showing up out of the blue as such, you can expect to start making yourself at home.]”

More or less, that was another way of saying, “I don’t care if you wanna see everyone else. We’re taking the quickest route there to get rid of him, whether you like it or not.”

His step was quick and brisk. Several random turns and a few doors later, the man from the picture - Gary Schneider - was standing. He was on guard duty, speaking with a younger member, Jake Eaves.

He approached the older man, straightening his back. “Excuse us,” he whispered to Eaves. “You are relieved from duty until further notice.”

Eaves nodded, then turned and disappeared to fetch something to eat. Reece turned his attention back to Schneider. “We have something we need to discuss,” he said. “Here with me is 8102 of an organization we have recently created allegiance with, and he has come with some interesting information.”

Schneider appeared a little weary, but his mask was strong. Reece took a deep breath and rubbed his chest. “You are aware every man and woman’s identity in Noxious/Aries is to be protected at all times as is stated in the briefing before you joined N/A, correct?”

Schneider paused and then slowly nodded. “Yes, sir.”

”As thought.” He then turned to 8102, a sign he could proceed to kill the man. No one was around, so he found no issue in doing so. An order from his father, after all.

His cold executioner’s stride easily kept up with the other suited man. The stares were to be expected, 8102 mused, but they were nonetheless somewhat uncomfortable. Too much of it would only allow his mind flashbacks of times strapped to an operating table, or moments submerged behind three-inch glass—all painful and unnecessary when it came to his task. It would certainly not do him well to cause another event like Incident 8102-1 in a foreign assassins’ headquarters. The quicker he made himself to the target, the quicker he could dispose of them and initiate the required calls. The eyes were bearable enough for now. After all, it seemed so easy to focus enough on how to kill this man and whittle the stares to a single eye of which he could gouge out and be on his way.

“Understood.” He made sure to hide well behind Reece to conceal his actions. Dealing with a Judo expert, getting in close for too long would spell more trouble for him and would most likely end up turning the tables. The last thing he wanted to do was make a fool of himself on foreign soil. This agent calling himself 8102 really did need to be quick on the jump else he’d lose the chance, the information, and a possible ally in the ranks.

Once he was in the room with the target, all attention zeroed in to them, a hand tensed readily to withdraw a knife from where it was hidden. Close combat was bad, but only if going on for too long. Sticking a blade into the kidney would render them in pain and paralyzed long enough for him to do something lethal. Of course despite how easily the plan seemed in his head he needed to be prepared to have some sort of struggle ensue. As long as he twisted it enough to be lodged in tight, it didn’t matter to this teen executioner if he himself finished the target off or the N/A agent made him target practice. He had no words for some rat attempting to cull the stock.

The moment the signal was given he swiftly moved past Reece, unsheathed the knife, and gored it into the older man with a twist. When almost no resistance was given he then proceeded to direct one of the man’s hands to hold the weapon in place before shifting behind and aimed a hard punch at the base of the skull. The judo expert should’ve slumped easily to the floor in a vulnerable state, where it would be easier to just lodge another knife into the body or riddle it with bullets. As far as the two agents were concerned, he was as good as dead.

1: What does their bedroom look like?

Reese has a very clean bedroom. (Something he picked up from his uncle and father, and engrained into his brain.) It is decorated with posters of well-dressed models and very pretty woman (wearing very pretty dresses). He has a sowing machine and some material at his desk, however he doesn't know how to use it.

· 2: Do they have any daily rituals?

Reese likes to wake up, eat breakfast, brush his teeth, then clean his AS50. Before he leaves the house, he MUST wear his leather jacket. He usually then goes to the headquarters, and chat with some fellow co-workers about contracts.

· 3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?

Everyday. Reese typical does circular-respiratory and muscle endurance/strength. (Running and lifting weights.) He also practices mixed martial arts and judo with some of the co-workers and his father.

· 4: What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?

Well, I'm going to change that cafeteria, since Reese spends most of his time in N/A Headquarters. He would just sigh and go out for food instead. He can't stand waiting when he's hungry.

· 5: Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)

Very clean. To the point where he cleans his rifle every day. He always keeps his [father's] desk clean and organized, since he shares it with his father.

He eats a lot, since he is always exerting himself. However, on contracts, he will not eat. Typically, he will have toast for breakfast, then have a big lunch, and a big dinner with many [healthy] snacks in between.

He really loves reading fashion magazines. He finds fashion so intriguing. He can spend hours reading one magazine, and it entertains him for a long while.

· 8: Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging

Reading fashion magazines, and clothes shopping. He is a huge clothes shopper, and enjoys male fashion over female fashion. Typically, he will try on as many clothes as he likes, before narrowing down to what he really loves, and buying those. Since his family is rich from the N/A, he has a very large wardrobe.

Actually, yes. However, just a little. Only to cover ache and even out skin tone.

Not really. Reece is just Reece, more or less.

Reece can speak many languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Chinese. He is trying to study Italian and Latin as well. He can't speak it fluently, but he can understand and speak slowly.

· 12: Favorite book genre?

If it wasn't a fashion magazine, he would enjoy adventure books. Traveling and exploring is something he would love to do, and sometime he tries to take part in during contracts.

· 13: Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general?

Reece is straight. While many people can be misled by his love for fashion and knowledge for female fashion as well as male fashion, he is very straight. He doesn't care about whether or not someone isn't straight. He just cares about whether or not they're alive, dead, or supposed to be dead.

· 14: Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.)

Reece has a few scars from being shot, stabbed, or such during any close quarters contracts. He has a shot scar on his shoulder from when he accidentally killed Joey. After he shot her, he looked up for a second. In that moment, he was spotted by security guards and shot at. He fired the second he stood to run. He managed to escape, but he was injured and barely made it home.

· 15: Biggest and smallest short term goal?

Whatever his contract is of the day or week.

· 16: Biggest and smallest long term goal?

To run N/A as smoothly and professionally as possible. He wants to run it well and with strength, and lead them to great power and give a wonderful and powerful organization to hid own child to lead.

Reese is a huge man of looking good and at his best. He always wears his best clothes out of the house, usually designer jeans and vintage shirts, and he never leaves the house without his favorite black leather jacket.

Soda. He loves drinking soda, mostly mountain dew. He also likes beer and alcoholic drinks as he is drinking age in Canada, but not anywhere else. His favorite alcoholic drink is the Midori Sour.

· 19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night?

I'll be honest with you. While Reece actually does think about Joey at night. He doesn't think about her through the day (and still sleeps soundly at night) but he can't help but wonder what it would be like to have her sleep beside him. He spends a few moments missing her, and then he goes to sleep.

· 20: Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?

Not really. He lived a basic life, but he would look to his father and uncle on how to act as a man. Since they lack remorse or guilt, he taught himself to as well. Many a few interesting situations where he was looked down upon for not showing regret or sorrow when he accidentally hurt someone's feelings at school.

He likes dancing. Watching girls dance and such, usually when he's drunk, or at least tipsy. It isn't hard to turn him on, but it's only possible when he's not on a contract. Not that many turn-offs, aside from ditching half-way through.

He would probably write a report. If he had no report to right, he might keep a journal. More for his previous contracts (with the occasional feelings somewhat added in there) and such.

Extremely organized. He can't be not organized. It just doesn't happen. He shares his desk with his father, and his father is a very tidy man. There for, he has to be neat or things could get messy.

Languages. Reece has studied languages all his life, because he enjoys them very much. He finds them very interesting, and can speak fluently in about five or six languages.

The same, but hopefully better at martial arts.

· 26: Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout?

Not for Reece, no. He doesn't have any plans. Just to keep doing contracts. (However, he would much like to travel the world a bit.)

Accidentally killing Joey. It is a regret that haunts him more than any other regret. However, his lack of guilt or remorse makes her death easier on him, to the point where he doesn't care, but he misses her very, very much.

Reece doesn't have any friends (at the moment). He doesn't have enemies either. He is just Reece, and that would be it.

He would react to take control of the situation and fix it as quickly as possible. Then, simply return to as he was doing.

If Reece's father dies, Reece would be very devastated. He loves his father very much, and he would probably be very depressed if his father would die. He would try to keep a mask, but he probably couldn't keep it up when he is alone.

His AS50 sniper rifle. He loves it so much. It was originally his uncles, which Rick gave to him as a welcoming present to N/A. He brings it with him on every contract and cleans it every day. It is his most favorite object.

He doesn't really care one way or another. He doesn't value human life as much as another person would. He is probably more materialistic than he would care about human life. However, he believes being materialistic to the point of incapable to do one's job is going too far.

Reece doesn't think much of home and family. He has his father, who is his family, and the Noxious/Aries bases, which are like his homes.

Whilst being extremely honest, Reece keeps his true feelings locked deep below. So below, he doesn't even know they exist. And if he ever were to discover these feelings, he probably would keep them a secret anyway.

Reading fashion magazines. Reece and his fashion. Also, spending lots of time on shopping, but not buying anything.

Nothing, practically. If he accidentally hurts someone, he gives a careless, "Oops, sorry," and continue on with what he was doing before.

Analytical, truly. He doesn't bother with his emotions, because he doesn't care enough to make a decision, so he just uses his head to make it.

Shopping and fashion magazines. This guy loves fashion, very much. When that doesn't cut it, napping.

Not really either. He doesn't care, either way. Maybe a somewhat of a superiority-complex, because he thinks he's awesome for being the Director's Son, but aside from that, nothing.

He doesn't care. People want people dead. The human race hates itself enough. However, he has seen people love enough (and experiences it himself enough) to not hate the human race.

Really? You ask this now? Fashion magazines, shopping, watching TV, the firing range. Done.

· 42: How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education?

Reece finished high school, but never went to collage. He thinks he taught himself better, for he learned five or six languages on his own. He does believe education is important though. "Stay in school!"

He has questioned whether or not there is a God. He wonders if the people he killed will go to heaven. He wonders if he is going to hell for what he is. In the end, he just says screw it all, and gives up on the whole Beyond The Stars Force. However, he sometimes hopes there is a God, so Joey can go to heaven.

· 44: Superstitions or views on the occult?

He doesn't believe in ghosts or any superstition. Sometimes, however, he sees Joey in a dream, and he wonders if that is her Ghost talking to him. Aside from so, he doesn't believe in any supernatural abilities.

Very much. Reece let's everyone know what he's thinking, especially when he finds someone's fashion unbearable. In fact, he'll occasionally fix it for them.

· 46: If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?

Someone like Joey. She was a lively, adventurous girl, who said everything on her mind. At first, she was skeptical about Reece, but she grew to him and he grew to her.

· 47: How do they express love?

By actually caring. Reece isn't someone who cares about people all that much. If he genuinely apologizes to someone, then he probably really likes them. Because Reece is a romantic person, he also likes to light candles and have a very good, expensive dinner. He would also do things with that person he wouldn't do on his own (e.g; ride roller coasters, eat cotton candy, etc.).

· 48: If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like?

Mixed Martial Arts. Reece uses a mix of different Red Belt martial arts he learned during his one year training as an assassin. He also knows a few black belt Judo moves, which was taught to him by Gary Schneider, who later betrayed N/A.

· 49: Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?

Reeco is terrified of dying. He is scared of dying, because he is scared of going to hell. More over, he is scared of seeing Joey again, because he couldn't bring himself to see her face when she finally told him she hated him for killing her. He is afraid of dying to face the hate Joey has for him.

Again, Reece drew silence. Not in hesitation, but in suspicion. If he was not to know the organization, then how was he to work with them? Instead of kicking him out of the office, he took the paper and frowned a bit at the picture.

So, Schneider was untrustworthy. How unfortunate. This was more than concrete evidence. He glanced up at 8102 and sighed. His father would not be happy.

”[Alright,]” he said, and pulled out his phone. “[One moment please.]”

He dialed a number and brought the phone to his ear. “Yes, I would like to speak to Rick Johnson. Extension number sechs, acht, zwei, vier, sechs, eins. [Six, eight, two, four, six, one; 682461.] This is an urgent message. … Yes. Gary Schneider cannot be trusted.”

There was a short conversation, Reece trying to keep his voice low so 8102 wouldn’t hear. He relayed the same message given to by him by the stranger and paused. “Yes sir,” he said suddenly, and hung up.

”[Under the permission of my father,]” the assassin began, turning and facing 8102. “[I will agree to help you in eliminating Schneider.]” He turned and grabbed his sniper rifle. This was a contract - well, he was going to treat it like one - and he always brought his rifle on contracts, even if it was unnecessary. “[I can lead you to him.

”[However, I have been ordered by my father to accompany you back to Japan and request an audience with your superiors. He also told me not to press should you decline, but do expect little trust in the future. Information will be limited until information is relayed.]”

He began out the door again, then stopped and turned back to the male again. “[Between you and me, however, if everyone in your organization dresses like you, then you got a great sense in fashion. Keep up the good work.]”

He patted 8102 on the chest twice, gesturing towards his outfit, and then continued out the door.

He watched curiously as the teen made a call, presumably to the director of this agency. There was no effort to attempt listening in to the conversation; still, there was no doubt if direct clearance was allowed, he’d be making a few calls himself…

The agent calling himself 8102 mentally exhaled a sigh of relief. The confirmation would be less of a load on him and more of a pile onto his superiors. For having not shot or driven the messenger on sight, he’d make sure that the information would be transferred as soon as the task was done. Three hours was a long time to anyone but himself—or at least that’s what the Osakan agent believed. He was sure his immediate travel to another country would help matters any on the jetlag that would be tax his body.

“Sure…” The teen did find it quite peculiar at the gesture of taste in clothing. To be quite honest he felt rather stiff in a suit, and was too western for his own tastes. Still, this was standard attire to begin with. The Organization was the last group he affiliated with that he would misrepresent.

Despite that momentary digression, he followed suit of the other agent. The Osakan had gloves on prior, so none of his prints were going to be left behind—not even on the picture he offered for proof. There was little to mobilize for when he’d been armed and prepared to the teeth the moment he walked through the doors. “I will make this quick. I’m sure there’s no need for you to use that firearm.”

He’d at least been given a profile on this Schneider agent who’d been nameless in his ranks. Proficient at Judo and quite skilled in the ranks even without a name—no doubt he’d be on guard. This agent calling himself 8102 would need to strike the moment that guard was down, and perhaps the director’s son provided more than enough distraction to have that situation happen.

Japan. He was from Japan. And, more so, sent from another organization. He was unsure of what to think. Then again, Noxious/Aries was almost a century old. It’s reputation could proceed it.

The Director’s son hesitated for a moment, then took the picture 8102 handed to him. This man was… What was his name…? “Gary Schneider,” he mumbled.

He bit his lip, then glanced up. “[Who are your superiors?]” he demanded instantly. What would Schneider be doing with information like that. He was a talent assassin, much farther along than Reese was. However, said talent assassin did teach Reese a some black belt Judo once in a while, whenever they had time and crossed paths.

However, clearly they did not meet often enough for Reese to remember his name.

”[What sort of information does he hold?]” he then asked, returning the paper of Schneider to 8102. “[Do remember, this member is a much valued assassin for Noxious/Aries. I would much prefer if we avoided unnecessary bloodshed.]”

If Schneider needed to be disposed of, then so be it. Reese wouldn’t care, one way or another. What he did care about was running the organization smoothly in his father’s absence. Chances were his father would be greatly upset if he returned to find one of his most valued assassins killed due to unidentified information.

“Who my superiors are should not concern you just yet, Mr. Johnson.” He returned the photo back to his pocket. “As for your valued member, as you so put it, They have found him to be nothing more than a long-running confidential informant—a rat out to law enforcement officials. There is strong evidence that suggests he has been feeding out names of my people to enforcement agencies. There is no doubt in my mind that, perhaps, this informant is doing the same to your people.”

He crossed his arms and took an almost uninterested glance at the area about him. Standard cameras, with a probably good catch at audio… if he did not move quickly, there was a dangerous possibility that his target could catch wind and make an escape. This was a small chance, of course—he was quite sure that his tracks were well-hidden. There was someone doubling for him back on the streets of Osaka, after all.

Sazerac, of course, was well aware that this individual shouldn’t (and probably wouldn’t) be so trusting of him, so with a bit of reluctance, he pulled out another photo of the same man but with several police officials in a meeting room and handed that over. “We identified the man and made sure this was no disguise. I don’t have clearance to know how long he has been working with your father, but he has been working for my superiors for a short time. The amount of names this informant has kept is unknown to me, regardless, but every member on that list is surely is crucial—that much you must know, right?

“Whether or not you relay this information to your father and consider accepting the offer my superiors are extending, I assure you any detailed information—within reasonable grounds, of course—will be sent to you in the future. Right now, the issue at hand is this agent of yours is marked and should be terminated immediately. I understand the need for a bloodless encounter and I am more than capable of making that possible, and your possible aid in this will make that smoother.”

True, he was mostly a solo act, but there was a time for glory and a time for sucking up. The Kansai agent could go about this quietly and there would be little fuss with probable cause that could be reasonably explained with the evidence contained in that rat bastard’s paws.

So, Schneider was untrustworthy. How unfortunate. This was more than concrete evidence. He glanced up at 8102 and sighed. His father would not be happy.

"[Alright,]" he said, and pulled out his phone. "[One moment please.]"

He dialed a number and brought the phone to his ear. "Yes, I would like to speak to Rick Johnson. Extension number sechs, acht, zwei, vier, sechs, eins. [Six, eight, two, four, six, one; 682461.] This is an urgent message. ... Yes. Gary Schneider cannot be trusted."

There was a short conversation, Reece trying to keep his voice low so 8102 wouldn't hear. He relayed the same message given to by him by the stranger and paused. "Yes sir," he said suddenly, and hung up.

"[Under the permission of my father,]" the assassin began, turning and facing 8102. "[I will agree to help you in eliminating Schneider.]" He turned and grabbed his sniper rifle. This was a contract - well, he was going to treat it like one - and he always brought his rifle on contracts, even if it was unnecessary. "[I can lead you to him.

"[However, I have been ordered by my father to accompany you back to Japan and request an audience with your superiors. He also told me not to press should you decline, but do expect little trust in the future. Information will be limited until information is relayed.]"

He began out the door again, then stopped and turned back to the male again. "[Between you and me, however, if everyone in your organization dresses like you, then you got a great sense in fashion. Keep up the good work.]"

He patted 8102 on the chest twice, gesturing towards his outfit, and then continued out the door.
