I’m not dead

I’m not dead, but I’m not quite alive. I know a lot, yet I know so little. I know a lot of skills, at the cost of not being great at any one of them. Mental health is dying, yet it’s still alive. Happy during the day, depressed and self-loathing at night. I can’t do anything right, but I can’t do anything completely wrong, either… I try to make others happy, so that they don’t end up hating…

Foot.

My foot hurts. Not a lot, not a little bit. Just enough to remind me it’s injured and that it’s healing up.

The fifth metatarsal bone in my foot was broken on July 13th, 2020, at around 4pm. It’s 13 days later, at around 4am as I’m writing this and… I’m really excited to get the cast off and live my life somewhat normally, save for exercises to get my right leg moving and a doctor’s note…

I was watching a video on YouTube about how blind people dream and whether they tend to mix up dreams and reality and whatnot, and that got me thinking about the times I mixed up the reality in my dreams with actual reality… doesn’t really make much sense like that, but I think you’ll get the point.
