i get SO fucking violent whenever people ignore me when i make a very explicit effort to read & respond to everything i miss in my friends gc even if it's like 100+ messages. even when i come in mid-convo to talk abt something, i always get what i say out there as soon as possible & then immediately respond to everyone else. i sincerely need to stop responding to or caring about what they say or their interests if they can't even afford me the same fucking time.

like wtf??? besides, they always talk to me about their interests & i indulge to the point i often buy or get into stuff they like so i can enjoy it with them. the most i'll get when it comes to my interests is a relatively one-sided convo where the other person's clearly disinterested, if THAT, & then they never give what i like a chance. it feels so uneven. i feel very violently. i think i might be splitting over all my friends right now, which is terrible because i don't wanna do something rash or ghost them or ruin anything because this is the most stable group i've had probably ever. but i reeeeally also just don't super care a whole lot right now.

Been a while since I posted. I'm here to ask a question for anyone with ASPD;

I want to write a character who has ASPD but I do not have any friends with the disorder nor can I really find non-ableist resources online. Could some of you please direct me to some good resources or posts? Maybe leave some replies for things you'd like to see in a character with ASPD? Things to avoid? I want to be as correct as possible when writing.

I don't have resources but for some accuracy, Lisa Rowe in Girl, Interrupted is a good reference.

I also will say, just searching it up a lot and learning as much as you can, because it's a spectrum. So there are mild cases of aspd and severe cases. There are cases with high and low levels of sadism, but sadism is definitely part of it. Just some, as I said, are higher and most are lower.

Aspd is like, not caring about anything or anyone at anytime and experiencing a lot of boredom, understimulations and anger.

It's also like. All about control and dominance. Everything is almost taken personally in that way, but you have to pick n choose your battles ofc.

I would suggest trying to write a character that isn't stigmatized with like murder (I say as I do this but that's a whole other thing later) Because really it isn't easy to live with it, not always. Mostly it's fine nbd but sometimes it is.

Also just remember that aspd people get confused by emotions and don't understand them, but this isn't like with autism, it's more like, they don't know why someone feels sad to the point of crying, or why someone feels so excited they jump and down, these are odd behavior to a aspd, who isn't familiar with it bc they don't experience that. and/or emphasize.

The difference between socio and psycho is just that socio were traumatized and psycho was born. It's nature vs. nurture. Most people with aspd have suffered a lot of trauma. So definitely remember that.

And yeah aspd don't learn from mistakes. Bc they don't care. They'll do it again if they liked it enough the first time at the expense of others feelings.

Most people with it have some criminal history even if minor. Most also have some drug and/or substance abuse, this has the opposite affect. Instead of numbing out emotions or blocking out feelings, it sort of brings out feelings which is nice.

Some are self aware and some aren't. So you can have fun with that I did a lot with my muses. I made frank half ass self aware and careless about it. Bc it means nothing. To him. Someone is like ur a socio to him and he's like oh yeah, you're a real genius for coming to that conclusion. BRAVO

Most aspd are assholes. Intentionally and unintentionally. Sometimes we are being assholes without even trying to be and we're like wtf? That was mean? Christ alive already, so there's that, it's a lot of just like walking on eggshells around every person, even if that other person has an attitude or dickish personality too, bc, aspd are more crueller, since they exploit insecurities and whatever else.

It's also like imagine getting like nonstop phone no fits that you cant shut off or mute and it's like, yeah, you're gonna be frustrated by that bs bc it's like I know I heard it, saw it, I just ignored it tho bc I didn't care and it's useless info.

Jesus christ, I can't be in any k/ink communities around here because I get so god damn defensive about how people enjoy themselves. What do you MEAN you don't like the thing in the way I do? You suck.

It's a "k/ink safe space" until it's something someone dislikes (UNLESS ITS ILLEGAL/HARMFUL that's when you can obviously tell someone to go fuck themselves). If it's something non-harmful and legal yet you're still telling people they're horrible for liking a thing then you should go fuck yourself.

On a less personal note, not gonna say what I'm into but it's definitely unsanitary in a way most people find revolting, and I can't stand when people within this realm of unsanitary fe/tishes are like "oh but X disgusts me!" like... I'm sorry but you are in no position to be judging now are you? (Those p/iss fetish people are especially guilty of this.)

If you have to be picky-choosy about this sort of thing in spaces where you should be normalized to seeing kind of disgusting things then you're weak. Grow a spine, get out more. Boundaries are obviously okay but it's all too common for people to harass others for liking a thing that is perfectly legal and consenting between adults.
