We haven’t posted a whole lot lately, but we’ve been working on something really cool. We’ve created a website with a full spectrum of information on NPD, including:

• FAQ

• Diagnostic Criteria in the DSM-5-TR and ICD-11

• Subtypes (Millon’s subtypes, empirical subtypes, and others)

• Possible Causes

• Comorbidity Statistics

• Societal usage of “narcissist”, history of the term and disorder, and debunking “narc abuse”

• Terminology definitions

• A full list of citations so our work can be checked and people can do their own research

you google "how to get help as a narcissist" and youre immediately bombarded by like 5 articles on how to spot someone with npd so you can avoid them and then a youtube video titled "how to BEAT a NARCISSIST at their own GAME" where a middle aged woman gives you a step by step guide on how to emotionally abuse an insecure person and no one sees anything wrong with that

Sometimes having NPD means I refuse to talk about my symptoms because then someone could perceive me negatively. God forbid.

Like I want to be more open about it but I hide it under 5 million layers of “not really” “but you’re the exception” in order to make people not hate me. Fml.

Did everything I fucking could to maintain a friendship with this dude while he made zero effort, but then I guess I'm the bad guy when I finally give up and stop trying too

You have no soul. You act like an immature, bratty child and have no understanding of other human beings. You don’t know that other people are just as worthy as you are and your perspective isn’t the center of the world. That mindset will lead you only to ruin and death. Someday everyone will know what kind of person you are and no one will love you. All of your enablers will see the truth of what you are and they will leave you one by one. And you will have no choice but to kill yourself. You should probably get an early Headstart on that to save yourself a lot of suffering. If you’re not gonna do that, then you should consider spending years of hard work in DBT therapy. But yeah, horrible death or therapy are your only options as a narcissist. I sincerely hope you choose the therapy option not even for your sake, but for the sake of every person that has the misfortune of knowing you. Change as possible, but you need to actually admit that what You’re doing and saying and thinking is wrong and you need to change it. Good luck!

Currently trying to come to terms with the fact that someone I used to be good friends with and still value a lot (and, to make things worse, am still in the same friend group with) doesn't even fuck with me anymore and I have no idea why. So that's been fun
