This week Hilary Duff ended an 8 year-long drought witness the release of “Breathe In. Breathe Out”. Many doubted the pop princess, but she proved to be a comeback queen as the album went straight to number one on iTunes in Brazil, Mexico, USA, Qatar and UAE. And it is still holding on to that position. To do a track-by-track review would be pointless because I can sum up the whole album with the following sentence: Every track is filled with smart lyrics and brilliant production. Seriously it is an amazing pop record. The ballads are beautiful and show Hilary’s deeper side. The uptempo songs are impossible not to dance to. I’ve been listening to the whole album on repeat for the last 4 days without skipping any track. It’s kind of a bummer that Miss Duff decided to shelve the first tracks she recorded because they were “too folky”. I would’ve loved to get to know that side of her. But she really makes up for it with amazing dance tracks.

To be honest, the tracklist is a little short but the material that actually made the cut are really solid. It made the 8 years worth the wait. Do yourself a favor and buy the deluxe version if you can. Those two extra tracks are great. Basically this album is what dreams are made of. (Sorry :s)

Beyoncé has delivered yet another surprise!!!! This time it's the video for 7/11, the single from her "BEYONCÉ" re-release. 

The video proves that once more we can never tell what King B will do.

With such a heavily produced song, you'd think the accompanying video would be this huge production with fancy choreography and big costumes. Well...you'd be wrong.

It is simple and basic but also fabulous and ratchet all at the same time. 

7/11 is not the best Beyoncé song to be honest. But this video is so amazing you won't be able to deny yourself the pleasure of popping your ass.

 It is safe to say that I love the video.

Book Review---"TRUE LOVE" by Jennifer Lopez

This is not a tell-all book. If you are looking for dirt and gossip, keep looking. This is an inspirational book that will give you advice on how to love yourself before loving someone else. It is filled with interesting stories from Jennifer's life and career that showcase a human side different from the "diva" we know. It also has many pictures from J.Lo's successful 'Dance Again Tour'. These photos are beautiful and they show the reader the whole process of putting a tour together.

The writing is great. Very relatable. And I can actually believe that Jennifer wrote it, regardless of if she had any help or not.

To be honest I was hesitant about this book, but I'm glad I bought it because it is replete of great life advice. I'll even dare to say that "True Love" is a self-help book. While you read about Jennifer's experiences, you'll start to reflect on your own relationships. It will also give you a new outlook on how you'll feel as a single person. In my opinion, the TRUE LOVE Jennifer is talking about is the love you have for yourself.

This book only serves as a reminder that when Jennifer Lopez does something, she does it perfectly.

Nicole Scherzinger "Run"-REVIEW

Finally!!!!!!!! YES!!!! This is what I was talking about!!!!

Nicole finally delivered what I knew what she could do all along!!! A beautiful ballad filled with sentiment and just pure raw emotions. I don't know if it will be her most successful song in the US but at least she's not playing it safe with a club banger. 

Brava Nicole! For showcasing your talent in such an amazing tune. Seriously her vocals aren't just perfect, they are Whitney-Houston-level  flawless. 

I can finally feel proud to be her fan. I just hope people can see what I've known since 2005 when PCD was released, this woman can S-A-N-G!!! She has more talent in her pinky than most "pop stars" in their whole bodies.

Way to go Nicole!

The video for "All About You" is everything we expected and more!

Hilary shows a sexier side and some cute dance moves. The storyline is simple but it is fun to watch. 

I still don't get why this song hasn't blown up. The video is way better than her previous one and the song itself is amazing. 

This video is highly recommended.

Alicia Keys "We Are Here"-REVIEW

A blessing came into our lives this week, a blessing in the form of Alicia Key's new song "We Are Here".

The social critique touches serious subjects like the conflict in the middle east, education, violence and human selfishness. But don't worry, Alicia makes sure we know things will get better as long as we support each other.

This is not an official single, but I decided to write about it because of what it represents. This is Alicia Keys at its finest. Specially in the video, where there's only her and a piano. Despite the fact that the video is simple, it feels organic and entertaining.

This is what was missing form Keys' previous album "Girl On Fire". This reminded us that she shines the brightest when she makes no effort at all. When she tries too hard, it seems fake and awkward.

But that's not the case of "We Are Here". Brava Alicia!!! If this where she's going with her new music, I come along happily!
