This piece is a tribute to Maul’s arc and his tragic legacy, heavily inspired by Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux’s “Ugolino and His Sons”. The way Filoni and the writers handled Maul’s story actually disintegrated my soul. He is a man who turned to stone to survive his own life, unwittingly crushing his own innocence and dragging his brothers into the abyss with him. I am officially unwell.

It's finally finished! My free time has been rather limited the past few months, so this took longer than it should have. But I'm super pleased with how it turned out!

Auditect wanted some 2003 TCW influence in this, and sent a bunch of helpful references. These Jedi are 3 of the characters he voices most often in his comic dubs, which you can find on YouTube here!

The Ferus Olin plushie collection is expanding! 🔥 And how miraculous that these two new ones arrived within a day of one another 🥹

The littlest plush is a “squeaky keychain” designed by Buttooti ♥️ And he is double-sided!! 😱 We get BOTH! Jedi Padawan Ferus and Rebellion Hero Ferus! 🙌

The itty bitty inspired plush was crafted by Fulcrum Creations 💕 Look at the amazing detail of his armor, including his fashionable arm accessories 😍 …Couldn’t resist posing these two together 🥲 Skylin forever 💘

I have a new Ferus commission to share with you 😍 It ties in with existing Obi & Ani designs from Ruzovy Art!

These “Flowers of the Galaxy” designs were created for Ru’s very first Star Wars enamel pins campaign 3 years ago 🥲 Since then, Ru has made a whole heap of merch and gorgeous works of art that you just need to check out if you’ve not had the pleasure.

I immediately made a phone wallpaper 🤩 and I’m obsessed!

We know our beloved Ferus Olin appears in 3 different book series: Jedi Quest and The Last of the Jedi by Jude Watson, and the Rebel Force series by Alex Wheeler. Wookiee lists a couple of additional works where he is “mentioned only. ” BUT there is ONE other source where he is credited as an active character, and I have always been intrigued…

Friends, I have gotten my hands on a copy of Star Wars Insider #88, July-Aug 2006, featuring Jude Waton’s short story, Ghosts of the Sith!

The story takes place between books 2 & 3 of The Last of the Jedi, and my sweet love muffin is the main character, of course 💕

It’s not easy to photograph a magazine, but I wanted to share for those interested:

I really love it. Ferus returning to Korriban is reminiscent to when he was there as a Padawan in the final Jedi Quest book. And knowing what went down on that mission (and following) gives this story an eerie vibe for this special Sith issue of the publication. I also love the foreshadowing of his brush with darkness. . .

And I REALLY REALLY love that Trever is there with him 😭♥️ (and we get multiple Obi-Wan mentions) (obsessed)

Being that this mag is from the summer of 2006, there are some other things in there I’m betting you’d like to see 😏
