This just made me realize that news articles always portray poachers as people from the area who killed them for money. But if they’re not being killed when people can’t travel there, then it’s not anyone from the area doing the killing. Makes me wonder how many of the “poachers” were actually trophy hunters from Europe or the US.

A visitor came into my workplace with a bathroom emergency and asked me if I would look after her huge dog while she was otherwise occupied. I said yes, and when she came back from the bathroom, she found me flat on my back pinned to the floor while her enormous and needy Newfoundland sat on my chest and refused to budge.

I didn’t “let” him so much as “I was physically unable to stop him”. I knelt on the ground next to him and scratched him above the tail to comfort him and he just... leaned and squashed.

The owner was SO apologetic and I had to reassure her that getting flattened to a pancake by her elephantine dog was the best part of my day.

God, I want Mamma Mia to become the Fast and Furious franchise of musicals. They just keep making them for no reason, and the more they make the more you don’t even care that there isn’t a plot.

You think we care about a plot? The first movie could have been solved in 2 seconds with a DNA test, but instead they decide to sing about how this girl doesn’t know which of these 3 men is her dad for 2 hours and in the end THEY STILL DON’T HAVE AN ANSWER. AND NO ONE CARES.

The plot is ABBA karaoke, and it brings me joy. That’s all you need to know.
