I just.. this episode makes me reaaaaaally happy for so many reasons:

Temari calling Shikadai in a lilting voice. It was so sweet!!

Shikadai calling her Kaa-chan. For me, it shows the closeness of their relationship rather than calling her okaa-san or kaa-san. It’s so adoraaaaable.

And they’re smiling!!!!!!!!!

Temari saying to heat up dinner BECAUSE SHE HAS A MISSION YALL AND WOULD BE COMING HOME LATE (this was like in every fanfiction i read omg)

Shikadai telling her to focus on her mission

Temari got to do her kunoichi thing for something other than comedic relief.

Temari reprimanding her son (SHE DID IT TO THE FATHER, AND NOW IT PASSES TO THE SON). Straightening up these Naras would be her duty.

Other Jounins: “No messing with these thieves!” Temari: “Lend me a hand!”

“Shikadai, kage shibari!” SHE KNOWS WHEN TO USE NARA TECHNIQUES

These was basically their every interaction but yeah aren’t they wonderful? What a time to be alive.

Petition for more Nara family in the future eps. More kunoichi moms on missions. More mom/son time. Just more fluffy family time.

It was shit quality but the content is oh so good.
