So you work emergency? Do you love it? I've spent time in each of the emergency rooms in my area during my first year of nursing. I just recently finished a 3 week preceptorship in same day surgery. I'm having a hard time choosing between surgery and emergency for my final preceptorship

I do love the ER! I love being all kinds of nurses. I get to take care of all kinds of people with all kinds of illnesses and on every end of the age spectrum.

Atropine overdose Mnemonics

Atropine is a medication used to treat certain types of nerve agent and pesticide poisonings, some types of slow heart rate, and to decrease saliva production during surgery.It is typically given intravenously or by injection into a muscle.Eye drops are also available which are used to treat uveitis and early amblyopia.The intravenous solution usually begins working within a minute and lasts half an hour to an hour.Large doses may be required to treat poisonings.
