If you do choose to use them please note that you WILL have to add more liquid in parts. I ended up with 2 1/2 cups of coconut milk because my smoothie was so thick. Add half a cup at a time, seal the lid and SHAKE before blending. If you do not shake it your nutribullet will seize up again. On the bright side I did not have to use any ice. On the downside this smoothie was very bland. I added a teaspoon of Tajín to the recipe to add some flavor. The one thing I did not add that I usually add was bananas. If you are looking for some natural flavor improvement I would highly recommend adding a banana to your recipe before anything else.
