وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَب

And to your Lord direct your Longing.

As humans, we’re always in a perpetual state of yearning. For someone. For something. A dream. A memory. And we spend so much of our energy, our thoughts, our efforts, trying to attain or appease the object of that longing. But imagine if that longing was for Allah. How easy life would become. How light. How beautiful. Because we’d finally be doing what we were created for but with ease, with love, and with so much hope.

Sometimes Being Alone Brings More Peace

Sometimes the peace we’re looking for isn’t in people, but in being alone, where our heart can finally breathe.

Ibn Qudāmah رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ said:

‎“Loneliness saves you from the evil of the people.”

‎[Mukhtasar Minhaj al-Qasidin | 113]

may your husband be a man who lowers his gaze, raises his hands in du’ā for you, and leads you with the light of Islām. may Allāh write that kind of love in your qadr. آمین

thousands of years ago, Allāh wrote your name beside someone who will make you feel whole, beside someone who will complete you, someone who will complete half your deen and become your soulmate, your bestfriend, your world. they will become your everything.

Allah puts so much barakah in your time when you’re punctual in offering your prayers. When you respect the Creator of time, He makes time work in your favor. May Allah put barakah in every minute of our days.

i don’t pray for a perfect man. i pray for a man with taqwa. someone who says “let’s pray” before “let’s talk.” someone who lowers his gaze and raises his hands in du’ā. someone who loves me for the sake of Allāh. i want a man who guards his soul, so he can guard mine.

not just a husband. a partner in Jannāh.
