The Weekenders outfit variations - Tish Katsufrakis
I’m actually really digging the vibes of Taylor Swifts New Album The Life Of A Showgirl. It’s more upbeat & catchy than her previous recent records. Those were a lot slower, sounded too similar to me & kinda boring overall. This album has some funky, 70’s vibes which I really like.
I couldn’t sleep last night early this morning so I wrote some lyrics for a new song (I guess it’s a poem right now because I don’t have a beat for it yet). It’s called We Are Not United Anymore. About how we aren’t United, how I wish for better days & how the orange man is ruining the country. I’d love to collaborate with someone on a song like this and flesh it out so it could Eventually be a full song. Some of my best ideas come late at night.
I could see it being a song in the powerful style of a Where is the Love by The Black Eyed Peas, Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson or an old school classic protest song.
Let me know what you think? This is just one of many in progress songs/lyrics I’ve written over the years. This one just came to me & felt super topical & perfect for the moment we are in now. If you write lyrics, stories, sing, play an instrument or make beats (like I do with Bandlab). I’d love to work with you on this song or any other one. Let’s collaborate & make some power, fun & positive music together!! 🙏🏻💙
I’m thinking about you and I hope you know how much you mean to me. From late March to October & sometimes early November you consume my nights & day. I bleed blue & I root for you. No matter what you do I’ll always be there for you. From the first game to the last it’s always been a blast & I hope this feeling lasts. Take it home boys you got this win. Number 28 will feel so great. Beat the boys from LA & no one can say you aren’t the best in the league!! 💙💙
Now this is a true poem I just wrote could be lyrics but in honor of The Yankees being in the WS & my Love for Baseball ⚾️. I wrote this from the heart. I hope you like it, maybe there is something I can do with it!!
How I feel about all of my online friends.
This is so true but even online it’s hard to keep the people you met as your friend no one wants to bother to get to know you these days it’s a real shame!!
Don't ever give up I'm here for you!! :)
You are not alone it will get better i’m here for you if you are here for me. Never give up and stay positive you are capable of great things!! :)
Just know that others can relate if you give them a chance to understand!! :)
Just some pics of the lights outside my office building I thought they were pretty and beautiful. They are back not sure why they went away a few weeks ago but they are festive!! :)
Just a few pictures I took at the short country Music concert we had a work today. I'm not the biggest country music fan but Brett Eldredge and Thomas Rhett were really good. You can't pass up a free concert. They only preformed a song each but joked around and answered a few questions!! :)
Saw Selma Hayek at the Apple Store Soho last night she is so gorgeous and funny. She was promoting her new animated movie she produced and does a voice in based on the book The Prophet, looks interesting!! :)
Took these today on my walk home after the Dentist then from getting lunch at Checkers. This is why I love NYC this was in a little park in Tribeca. I have no idea what it means, who made it or why it's there but I kinda like it. Great detail but the randomness of it for me is what makes it exciting. Kinda reminds me of a pirate heard!! :)
Took some lovely pics today In Madison square park of the beautiful tulips (my moms favorite) and of this cool art instillation. Was a pretty good Mother's Day glad I got to spend it with my Mom!! :)
Life is (working title). Lyrics/poem wrote these around February I believe would love to finish them. Any Ideas?
Life is a marathon so take it head on and never stop but learn to breath and figure out what you want to achieve. Life is tough it's a struggle we all live in a bubble just waiting for it to burst and just doing our worst. We gotta change and rearrange and all get on the same page. We gotta flip the script and rewrite the chapters of our so called life and do it right it starts tonight.
Took these of young MJ the other day they were posted on a wall near my apartment in NYC. MJ is my favorite artist of all time I will always love him!! :)
Saw Helen Hunt at the Apple store soho tonight she was promoting her new movie Ride (she’s a mom and a surfer) which she wrote, directed and also stared in. Looks pretty interesting. I have better pics I took with my Canon digital camera I was in the second row. These are just what I took with my iPhone 4s. It was a fun event hope you enjoy them!! :)
First post hope you enjoy this blog!!
I’m not sure where to start but I thought I would start another blog to primarily focus on my creativity. Which will consist of pictures I take and lyrics/poems I write. I may post other stuff from time to time but this will mostly be a online portfolio if you will. To help me get something going and get my art out there as well as promote my online shop among other things!! :)
