The rest of Toriyama’s Q&A session. First post is here. -Saiyans don’t train either save for a select few who are deemed worth the effort, and only for a short time, implying heavy reliance on their caste system. This also explains why the U6 Saiyans would be stronger in general; they do train regularly, unlike their counterparts. -Saiyans can and will eat pretty much anything edible. (hence Vegeta eating one of the people they’d killed in his first appearance) -Saiyan children do not play, they have no concept of it. -Saiyans in general aren’t very good at studying and don’t care for it. -Saiyan science is not very advanced outside of things to do with battle and space travel; almost all advancement came from their deal with Cold and Freeza -Saibamen are not the creation of the Saiyans or Freeza’s men, but a type of creature they discovered. -Saiyans do not celebrate birthdays or holidays.
