I’m sorry like Ilya in episode 4 is genuinely so funny to me. Like my man said “After years of just fucking each other whenever we’re in the same city, and sometimes ghosting Shane for months with no explanation as to why, turns out I actually really like him for real. So here’s my grand plan, I’m gonna invite him to my house for the first time ever, I’m gonna fuck him, then I’m gonna make gods greatest Tuna Melt, and once he eats this sandwich, his telepathy will kick in and he will know how much I really like him without me having to say a word, and we’ll become Boyfriends.”

Like I love Ilya so much but I can’t believe that was his plan and he genuinely believed he had it in the bag, lol, or that a change in their relationship status wouldn’t need to require an actual conversation about their feelings. Like in that moment I was actually happy that Shane freaked out and left because it was what needed to happen for both men to realize they can’t keep going about this like they have been and that words actually needed to be had between them. However hard the Tuna Melt incident scene is to watch, it ultimately did end up saving their relationship.

Also side note: But I bet they never ate Tuna Melt in their household again😂😂😂😂😂😂

I told yall Mark and Eve was about to be the most blandest, vanilla, pasty, no sauce, no spice, no flavor couple I have witnessed in years and I WAS RIGHT!!!! They are legitimately boring with no chemistry whatsoever and I feel sorry for both characters that they are slapped with this relationship just because it’s comic accurate. This relationship is not doing either of their characters any favors and is only hindering them. They already changed so much from the comics that I truly feel like they could have changed this and it would have worked, but instead we got this and now I gotta watch this boring couple struggle to find chemistry on my screen, like why???!!!

Modern AU Spy and Mafia. This story is a ride, but it is such a good read. Hinata tends to discover so much about herself in these missions, Sasuke also finds what he really wants even when everything seems so clear. I love how the characters are portrayed while true to themselves but with complexities.

-you took my heart (I was sleeping) by lameparties this is the most incredible byler fic I've ever read, I swear almost every member of the byler fandom has already read this but it's so good- I couldn't not recommend it. (52k words)

-deep blue, but you painted me golden by andiwriteordie and kidnova Mike finding out the truth about Will's painting, the writing of this fic was absolutely beautiful, I loved it so much and I never see enough people talking about it, easily one of my favourites!! (7k words)

-to hell and back again by perexcri byler getting stuck in the upside down, as well as the painting lie being very prominent throughout, again one of my favourites- I read this all in a single night (144k words)

-resplendent by smoosnoom really cute, fluffy fic- Will's powers going crazy everytime they kiss (3k words)

-the night is long but you are here by iriscandy SUCH A GOOD FIC OMGGG, a beautiful alternate season 5 fic (which I think is something we all need right now) where Will is forced by vecna to confess to Mike and a slowburn aftermath ensues. (87k words)

-(give me a second to) forget I ever really meant it by delusionaltogether (Whyyyyy) okay I haven't read this one yet, but it's been on my list for awhile and you can literally never go wrong with a practise kissing fic (11k words)

Also I don’t care what any of ya’ll say but in 10 years when everybody reunites for Lucas and Max’s wedding. Jonathan and Nancy would have already gotten back together and is keeping it a secret from everyone and Mike and Will will finally succumb to their 20+ year long situationship and fuck in the bathroom of the reception. And that’s literally canon, like it’s genuinely what these characters are gonna do.

But the concept of The Duffers allowing El to be emotionally mature enough to realize that Hopper was indeed replacing his daughter with her, and trying to fix his mistakes but they DIDN’T allow her to be emotionally mature enough to realize Mike actually doesn’t understand her and their entire relationship was Mike trying to conform to the social norms. Like I can’t believe they truly believed this was the best way they could have ended this story!!!!

So I think Will is going to try and talk no jutsu Henry/Vecna and I think we all need to prepare ourselves for the very real possibility that we might have to watch an abused kid try and save his abuser

I don’t consider myself a full time Byler (I’m more of a whatever makes Will happy truther) I will say that for me the biggest “proof” of Byler is the fact that the writers haven’t allowed Will to move on from Mike after S4. Just from plain old storytelling, if Will was supposed to just move on, then they should have let him do that at the end of S4, even other shows with blatant love triangles let the character that wouldn’t chosen move on. For example The Vampire Dairies let Stefan move on in S5 when it became clear that Elena chose Damon and they were trying to milk that love triangle for all that it was worth. If this story is simply just supposed to be Will self accepting, why couldn’t they have used those 18 months time skip to allow him to move on from his feelings for Mike…… or even allow Mike to find out about his feelings in S4 and tell him he doesn’t feel the same way. Like I won’t say for certain that Byler is happening because none of us knows for sure, but if it doesn’t, that would be a very stranger writing decision on their part honestly to not allow Will to move on.
