if there's one piece of advice i can give to people for character design it's almost never take inspiration solely from what's on pinterest. the character designs that are on pinterest are aesthetically pleasing on a baseline level and maybe can give you a rough outline for an overall aesthetic but the designs themselves almost Never convey anything about the character, their world, or really anything at all other than maybe that they"re stylish.

on top of that a lot of them are needlessly detailed in a way that, if you copy that design philosophy you are never gonna wanna draw your character cuz you're gonna feel exhausted at just the thought, and other artists will feel intimidated by it as well.

(all these reasons are also why i kind of loathe hoyoverse chara designs lol)

of course you can do whatever you like, this is just my advice. i've always found myself frustrated when i needed to create a design for a character and went to pinterest for inspo only for it to fail every time lmao.
