Some Colour Theory headcanons I think its fun to think about.

I'm not entirely sure how I imagine colour works on cybertronians... I think a protoforms first transformation tends to decide what colour they will be. Protoforms mimic the mechs they spend the most time around, but colour can come from other interests. Some can change their colours over time but most can only really swap between their original palette.

I sound MEAANN but I don't think Springer or Megatron are considered very pretty in cybertronian standards. Cybertronians like bright colours, red and blues most of all-- Optimus Prime is considered verryyyy pretty.

Hot Rod is both pretty, but also kind of shocking with how many oranges and yellows he has. He gets your attention. Bumblebee is even more striking. Ultra Magnus on the other hand likes his simple blues, he likes a connection to Primus.

Elita signifies to you that she is dangerous. Arcee has a little more white on her but the two of them make you wary. The equivalent of seeing something blood red in nature, pretty but you keep your distance.

I didn't mention it but white and black are a LITTTLEE bit different from gray. Some still find it a kind of sickly colour, while others view it like a blank canvas and find beauty in that. Little bits of it mixed in with colour are considered pretty and youthful.

Season three is objectively the best Cyberverse season for everyone except Starscream bc they nerfed him so hard with that Quintesson design
