Happy International Women's Day 2016! Being a woman is not being an archetype or a character, but a complex, multicultured, diverse, unique, array of things that depend on the individual and their society. I strive to show the diversity of what it means to be female, particularly a female person of African descent through the Nzigi girls. Latest Nzigi girl: 'Wild Orchid Famn' On the sides the Jacmel Kanaval collection and 'Buchi' Every Nzigi character is unique, like a fingerprint, with her own story, her own way. Celebrate this year with greetings cards featuring strong, Africana women.
Experimental sample of what a ^CUSTOM* greeting card featuring “Ajanti” would look like :)
All available Nzigi greeting cards as of February 13th 2016! Each $5 card is 4 1/2 by 8 1/4 inches. Envelopes come free, and every card is blank for personalized written messages. Surprise your friends, family and colleagues with a special card this Black History Month. Follow on Instagram: @monetbourdeau
"Lanwit" inspired by the beauty, resilience and power of the women who played a part in the Haitian Revolution that was won victoriously in 1804. Channeling today's conscious, active and intelligent Haitian women as well as those of the past, and even farther, to our African warrior ancestors, the #Ahosi of #Dahomey. My history is your history. Know your worth, celebrate your beauty, and just ROCK❤ Follow my art n faves on Instagram @monetbourdeau And Pinterest: NatiRel Bourdeau or ayitinati
