did you know Hausa people recorded their own history

I am pretty sure alot of other African people did this too as there is

Adinkra , Bété syllabary, Medefaidrin

Gbékoun script , Nsibidi and Ajami

Ajami uses Arabic letters but modified to fit hausa as hausa has sounds that the Arabic language doesn't have (also did you know Hausa is an Afro-Asiatic language). Ajami was used in scholar texts and scripts used for teaching. Now Ajami is lessed used and now if you can only write and read in Ajami you are considered illiterate.

Now in its place is Boko (latin alphabet)

But with some modification like with these

Ƙ,ƴ,ɓ,ɗ,

Fulani people also have their own language

It's called Fulfulde or Fulah

But they also used Ajami but not Hausa Ajami, in older text. But there is a newer writing system that is unique to the Fula people

Adlam script

The name Adlam is an acronym derived from the first four letters of the alphabet (A, D, L, M), standing for Alkule Dandayɗe Leñol Mulugol (𞤀𞤤𞤳𞤵𞤤𞤫 𞤁𞤢𞤲𞤣𞤢𞤴𞤯𞤫 𞤂𞤫𞤻𞤮𞤤 𞤃𞤵𞤤𞤵𞤺𞤮𞤤) which means "the alphabet that protects the peoples from vanishing". It is one of many indigenous scripts developed for specific languages in West Africa.
