I'm gonna refer to them as Nick (Close) Nicky (Close/Foster) and Nicholas (Foster) btw
s o Vik, you pointed out yes the red and blue tint, that's definitely the most obvious things, I'll get more into that in a minute-
BUT the red that I used for nickys horns was color dropped from previous drawing of Glenn's hair dye, and yeah no one's gonna know that but I do and it makes me sad so I'm gonna tell all'y'all <333 just putting that small connection to Glenn, and ALSO connecting to Jodie in the fact that they're . y'know. horns. however, that same red is also just a bit desaturated for the shirt, so that's a solid. just glenn thing. then obviously his blue flaming hair, being his solidly Jodie connection. so he's got a Glenn thing, a Jodie thing, and then a combination-of-the-two thing. Then also his hair pattern, it's a bit more rounded like nicholas, but still has those sharp spikes like nick, so he's still got some of both versions of himself, he's not just become one of them, he's taken little bits from both of them. all three nicks still have basically the same hair style, but just the slightest changes in texture
Then for Nick Close, that SAME red is used on not just nickys horns, but it's also the same as nick close's hair dye and his shirt, because Nick close is GLENNS kid and so he has more of Glenn's color, he's got two just-Glenn things while Nick has basically one and a half. it's also the color I used for the red tint. then he's got the straight spikey hair, which is mirrored slightly in Nicky's hair like I mentioned earlier.
meanwhile, Nicholas Foster ! so, the blue that I used in Nicky's hair is the same as Nicholas's shirt, and I gave it stripes so it still gave the illusion that he had two bits of Jodie (because I couldn't think of what else to give him lmao-) while nicks just got the same one and a half. that blue is also the tint on Nicholas' mirror. Nick then has the softer, round hair, which gives Nicky his curvy-er hair, because nicks is perfectly straight, while nickys is definitely more wavey even if it does still end in points.
then just the differences between Nick and Nicholas, mainly just two, and one that I know for absolute certain no one would just know this, but the gray I used on nicks jacket? yeah, so I inverted it and that's the light grey on Nicholas' stripes. because they are the same fundamentally but due to their whole thing they've become opposites, while still in the same hue. that's also why I used a grey just between nicks and nicholas for Nicky's pants. it's not exact because I was kinda rushing at that point sbkdjdjdjd but STILL ! then also the very minor change in expressions between Nick and Nicholas, Nicholas is much more sure in his, it's a straight line, he's upset, all that. meanwhile nicks is a bit more confused. it's definitely still upset, but he's still conflicted. he's got just that HINT of a smile, he's happy that he still exists in Nicky, while Nicholas is just purely upset that he's not completely himself. Nicholas (from his pov) has always existed, and so to him, becoming Nicky is only losing some of himself, so he's purely upset. Nick however, ceased his existence. he's stopped being, and so by becoming Nicky there's still the sadness that it's not him and it never has been, but still the hope that he's still there even if just a little bit.
anyways, I think that's it, I had much more to say about this than I thought but honestly I'm not disappointed anndjskdjdj hope the two or three people who this appeals to enjoy it, because I definitely did <333 moral of the story, I thought way too hard about this and did nothing except make myself and hopefully other people have Emotionsâ„¢ and I'm happy with that .
