Rishid help. I'm absolutely sucking in all of my classes this semester and I lost all of my motivation to do anything I once love. I don't know what to do besides lie down and give up

"Never give up. In times of trial our goal is greater. Do not depend on motivation - it is fickle and unreliable. Better to cultivate discipline, than to rely on motivation. Force yourself to do things, force yourself to practice, force yourself to work. Motivation is fleeting, and it's easy to rely on because it requires no concentrated effort to obtain. Motivation comes to you, you do not chase it.

If a boy in the desert can escape from a tomb, and go on to change not only his life but dozens of others for the better I assure you, you can and will pass your semester, if you continue to try."

Oh! If you're going to play the guitar, are you going to sing, too? What genre would you play?

"I do not feel comfortable singing. I classic guitar, soft and vocal-less pieces."

"I have not. I do not tend to watch television."

What have you found out about yourself breaking away from your siblings, if I may ask?

"It is hard to explain. I am still not quite practised in my ability to express myself... although I am learning."

"I suppose of all the things I have discovered is that I enjoy learning quite a bit. I read very often, I practice my languages daily. I even dabbled briefly with the possibility of learning guitar. I found that I am a wealth of possibilities, just like my vibrant siblings."

Ok, weird question: a lot of times in Doctor Who, they've featured beings that are basically outer-space re-animated mummies, or thus reminiscent. I don't think it's likely this would ever evolve, partially since the only reason mummification worked in Egypt was the dry, arid atmosphere, and the extreme cold of space should produce something more like "Otzi the Iceman" (among other things, of course). Any thoughts on this subject?

"My knowledge of space and science is limited. All I was taught by the tomb keepers was a very limited branch of knowledge. When it comes to mystic and history I am quite knowledgeable but beyond that I find my intellect very lacking."

"I make sure to try and educate myself best as possible now I reside on the surface, and space travel truly interests me.  This subject too, is very fascinating. I do not have much of an opinion on it but I might look into it further."

What things do you do now with your sister? Your brother?

"I help with their individual projects, and they with mine, however, the greatest task of all for me since laying the Pharaoh to rest has been discovering myself as an individual away from my adoptive siblings. Although I treasure the relationship I have with them, I am grateful that they encourage me to indulge in my own company."

Has Marik or Ishizu ever gotten too hyped up from sugar or caffeine before?

"Although both are fairly dependant on caffeine nowadays, I do not recall them ever being over exerted on either that or sugar."

Rishid, do you know any dances?

"I know of many dances. I practice none."

Besides cooking and weaponry, what other skills do you have?

"I can speak, write and read in fluent Arabic, English, French and Japanese. I can ride a motorcycle and I also have started to learn the practice of cross-stitch."

What's the biggest thing you feel guilt over as a child?

"There are many things I feel guilt for, regarding my earlier years."

"I feel I should have protected Master Marik and Miss Ishizu so much better, I should have been the one to take them to the surface, instead of letting Marik spiral down his dark path, and cause Ishizu so much heartache.

My feelings towards my brother were ones of jealousy, and I never truly appreciated Ishizu's wisdom when we were children... if I could I would go back and change it all."

Mun, any thoughts on Rishid's potential sexiness?

{Rishid is a literally babe, easily one of my favourite characters in the series. Even though my activity on this blog is so sparce and random I love that people still bother to send me asks so I can dive into the role of my darling under-appreciated-hero.

In regards to him being sexy, he's damn fine. I think a lot of people take him for granted because of the alternative hair-do, but if you gave him a bishie-cut I bet all the fangirls would come running >_>}

Have Marik ever taken any drugs before?

"Marik tried a great deal of things during his first few months on the surface. Drugs were among the many taboos he practised."

And there are a lot of instances that stay out of the newspapers." He crossed his arms and looked at Rishid with a stern face though his eyes held a hint of a soft stare that was always reserved for him.

Rishid stared at his younger adoptive brother with a tight lipped look. Oh ... where was he even meant to begin?

"I kept all the newspapers while you were away?" he suggested, "that may help you catch up."

"Do not let anyone come within a 10 feet parameter of me, unless it is Ishizu or" A sigh breaks his speech. "father." He flips his hand dismissively. "Do you hear that? I have barely returned and I am being bombarded by idiots. I suppose that is he cost of being in the public eye."
