The Marauders and Lily Evans are not OCs built by the fandom!!!! There is enough information about all five of them to form their characters into canonically accurate portrayals and anything else is considered out-of-character and should be labeled as such!!!! There’s nothing wrong with writing the characters out-of-character, but please for the love of god stop trying to pretend marauders fanfics invented the marauders!!! Know if you’re writing OOC and label it as such!!! Pleaseeeee!!!!!!

The only true communal tossed around OCs built by fandom interpretations through the years are the characters with one-off mentions like Mulciber (Jr), Marlene McKinnon, the Prewett Twins, and Amelia Bones.
