Grays smile shrank slightly when he noticed her features begin to distort slightly “I’m sorry if you took that the wrong way Freeda. I just meant I wouldn’t want to fight you at all.” He spoke softly

“Of course I respect you it doesn’t matter to me at all what you’ve done in the past, I still consider you to be a friend.”

                           "It's fine."

Freeda knew what Gray had wanted to express with his previous statement about her magic after all so she also knew that he didn't mean any harm. Hearing this sort of consolation (that Laxus, her team mates and her had truly been forgiven even though she was still sure that they hadn't deserved so much kindness afterwards) was... always kind of reassuring though and it reminded her of just how much of a family she had found in Fairy Tail.

                            "Thank you, Gray. I wouldn't hold it against anyone if there was still a feel of resentment towards us but it's relieving to know that I, we, could rebuild the trust and our bonds."

Grays lips curled upwards to return her smile after a few seconds, moving to take a seat at the bar in the guild hall next to her. “I suppose you’re right there. Plus with your magic I certainly wouldn’t want to get you angry at me.”

The mention of her magic caused her features to distort a little before a sigh slipped past her rosy lips right after. Her comrades didn't have to fear anything from her anymore. She refused to use any of those spells of hers on them. Not again. Freeda knew that Gray had a point however; intense  r a g e  could be a trigger for something horrid but she trusted that none of her friends would be able to push her that far.

                           "I would be lying if I claimed that I am not pleased about this immense respect. I am grateful in fact, especially after the occurrences at the Fighting Festival. But I certainly do not wish for a repeat of the pain I caused."

   A sighleft the slayers mouth and he slowly stepped closer to her again, wrapping one arm around her and kissing her cheek.

        “Was my own fault. Guess I overreacted and pestered ya.               Ya don’t deserve anythin’ but good treatment.”

Upon hearing Sting blame himself once again the female couldn't help but sigh though decided not to say anything against it. She'd tried before and perhaps actions to reassure him would have a stronger effects than her words did.

Smiling ever so slightly at the cheek kiss Freeda turned her head towards him, one hand on her hip.

                            "But you know... now you very well have the permission to kiss me on the lips as well."~

Gray let out a soft chuckle, his hands falling back to rest at his sides “Honestly, I’m not really in the mood to argue with anyone right now anyways. Id much rather have a normal conversation with you.”

As her hands settled on her hips Freeda's smile began to reflect her inner contentment at last.

                           "I'm glad we are in agreement. Arguing about this sort of issue would have been an absolute unnecessity and waste of time anyway."

   Well, okay. He honestly thought that something happened. But if everything was alright he was glad, yet he felt a bit awkward now, wanted to pout but decided against it. Defending her with punching someone would have looked a bit heroic, no? So, it was a bit sad, however better she was fine than this.

         “Ouh, okay.”

                           "I take it then you are not avid for revenge because I hit you back then? Well that's a relief. It’s not like I wouldn't be able to take it but punches to the face usually make for a not so pretty visual result."

She tried to joke but truth is that she still felt moderately sorry for her exaggerated reaction when he'd attempted to kiss her for the first time. Sting really hadn't deserved that punch.

“Fine, you win.” Gray spoke, a small sigh leaving his lips as he held his hands up in defeat

That was a quicker surrender than anticipated, much to her contentment, though. She wasn’t in the mood to argue with anyone right now and on top of that her patience wasn’t in its best shape

                         “At least you’re finally showing some insight.”

  He didn’t really know how to react to it the best way. What if she meant him? Did he do anything? But that was just one of some possibilities. And he was someone with a direct personality, so with a more worried but serious expression he asked

       “So? It sounds disappointed… Anyone I have to punch?”

It wasn't a recent event that had her occupied with this particular train of thought. And that was something good, was it not? Freeda was just reflecting on some things, perhaps even things involving part of her attitude that sometimes shone through, but the visible concern on her boyfriend's face managed to coax a very tiny smile out of her.

                          "No, there's no one unless you desire to get me back for the punch. I've merely been thinking."
