; interviews suck

Satisfied with his mental solutions, Yein finally managed to stop prattling nervously on. He had a purpose now. Even if Hakyeon-nim didn’t hire him, he’d still offer some gentle suggestions to the man, before he departed.
"You shouldn't downplay your talents, Yein-ssi. You're quite talented," Hakyeon said as he led Yein back towards his office. The walls of the gallery were high, peaked into tall ceilings with twinkling lights above. If anything, Aspect Ratio was beautiful – atmospheric – just the way Hakyeon liked it. Any windows at Aspect Ratio appeared to be décor as much as the paintings on the walls, stained and frosted glass that didn't let too much true, natural light through. "I am here seven days a week," Hakyeon explained, "This is, at the heart of it, my child." His smile was kind, but still very placid.
Holding open the door for Yein, Hakyeon followed behind into the back corner office that he called his own. The furniture was dark, walnut wood that soaked up any of the fluorescent light from the overhead lights. It, also, called attention to the lack of natural sunlight with the lack of windows to the outside world. Hakyeon rounded his desk and sat, flipping through his papers to Yein's application and resume. "Please have a seat," Hakyeon said with another calming smile, "So to start with, Yein-ssi. I do appreciate you coming out here for an interview. Can I ask where you had heard of my gallery? What drew you to apply here?"
