This whole album is pure gold. I had it sitting around my studio, after my neighbours left the complex. They left behind a stack of CDs, and about a year and a bit later, whilst I was doing a tidy-up, I was distracting myself from a tidy-up with working out weather any of the music was work keeping, needless to say that The Friends of Mr Cairo was on repeat for while.

This classic piece of electronic cinematic amazingness, from the fantastic film (Electric Dreams), with the ever so talented Giorgio Moroder doing the musical score. Toted  as being a fairy tale for computers, how could you not want to watch it. I was reminded by watching Her, this post is probably just as much an honourable mention of the whole film as this song in particular.

I say this was my bedazzled find from 2013. Lyrically, perhaps, a hidden masterpiece. The first time I heard it, I thought that I hated it. And then I listened to it again.
