cue me, salty that p.e.rcy was never given any cultural experience in el barrio. like going to the deli and getting a bacon egg and cheese or fucking getting 50 cent juice and a bag of takis, or using a community pool that’s 5 blocks away and when he got out he’d be dry blame it on the sun and buy a 2$ hot dog from the stand. sally taking him to the parks that were around and percy playing / swinging for hours. or percy strolling through 3rd avenue 116 street embracing the radios and outside stands playing marc anthony or la india with blue 50 cent juice stained lips. but no rick had to make him a whitie who “lived in a bad neighborhood bc of gabe” b y e
