This is sooooo cute it makes me explode with cuteness aggression. The whole scene and fic has this quiet atmosphere of longing because they love each other, they are right there in each others arms, but there's still this HESITATION like if they even breath wrong it will be broken. I am such a sucker for yearning while actively in a relationship and this was just about to kill me.

This is a Medea retelling with Blitzwing in the role of Medea and Optimus in the roll of Jason. Including the infidelity, infanticide and general murder.
I used the shattered glass colors in my illustration because the fic itself is tagged Shattered Glass though in the fic its not really clear other than that no one is quite like their TFA selves. I enjoy it more for its greek tragedy aspects than its shipping if that makes sense.

The Autobots and Decepticons are currently discussing peace and Optimus has to suffer through watching Ultra Magnus and Megatron flirt while getting nowhere. At least Blitzwing's company isn't half bad until the mech begins to insist they meet alone.
This is a pure rom-com and I love it. Blitzwing is SUCH a mess, he wants that Optimus cookie sooo badddddd but he is extremely shy about it and so just, hovers around Optimus not saying anything. Optimus meanwhile is like "I might have a crush on Blitzwing but I have a job so idc about that", you just kind of want to smush them together like dolls. The supporting cast is also a DELIGHT, it's really a team effort to get them to act on their feelings.

This is really cute because Blitzwing is just, SO adoring of Optimus and basically "Noooo, don't be with the Autobots you're so sexy haha." With Optimus being a warframe in this there's this overtone that Blitzwing extends his own dehumanization to Optimus now. He knows Optimus is being mistreated and how hard he denies his new body with the Autobots but thinks the right way for Optimus to be treated now is as the weapon he is. It's a very fun dynamic to have at the same time Blitzwing is planning marriage.

I don't have much context of what is happening in this fic but it was a short fun read of Blitzwing completely derailing Optimus' attempts at a serious conversation by throwing him the curve ball of "I think you're really hot I would like to go out and eat sometime."

This is actually a Team Prime x Blitzwing fic (-Ratchet) and currently the most shippable moment has been when Bulkhead holds his hand and Blitzwing goes "???? Contact that's not hurting me????? This feels nice????" because as said he is Normal. It's also currently ongoing and I am Seated for whatever ride this will take us on.
"How bout now?" By luluyam is giving huge Blitzop vibes I gotta say, most of it from Blitzwing's pov but I can see a few lines as being Optimus.
This is such a Blitz song it was genuinely hard to narrow down what lyrics to draw. You can basically just play this song while rereading the Blitz scenes in "This was supposed to be a fling" and it basically matches all of them.

Ao3 is really hit or miss, but anytime there’s a TFA cross-faction that ISN’T MegOp and someone gets caught, Megatron is usually written like he’s beyond offended and going to kill everyone involved.
It would be funnier if he kept tabs on who’s seeing who and was constantly asking if anyone’s been spreading their propaganda or convincing anyone to switch to the cons while they hit it. “Tell them they can’t tap that unless they join, quit giving them aft for free.”
Constructions sandwiching Bulkhead? They better be spreading the gospel. Shockwave talking to that trash cube again as if it can hear him? Better be telling him about the glorious cause. Blackarachnia and Optimus having tragically complicated feelings? She better be telling him how much better the decepticons are like it’s a sales pitch. “Join now, we actually LOOK FOR A BODY after dropping you down a hole in the ground.”
That would be hilarious, considering how there's a chance that's worked in the past

i failed a paper bc i didn't make the character i analyized ratchet (tfa -- it was about characters with anxiety disorders and ptsd) so im going to do blitzwing for this one and im gonna have my big nerd glasses like "yep i think he has DID and he's awesome actually and everyone should lik him. you will like him."
So I've been thinking about this for a few days but @crispy-art-on-fire answering my ask really kicked me into gear to sit down and do this all in like... 4 hours straight. Look drawing things physically then tracing them in digital takes some time. Anyways, this is my OSDD Homura AU/headcanons.
Akemi was present for most of Homura's life, switching in to deal with situations Moemura (Who was the first alter whom I'm calling that for convenience sake) couldn't. After being forced to kill Madoka, she fully split and Moemura went dormant and hasn't been seen since. Akemi functions as the host and Apparently Normal Part to keep Homura alive- she protects Homura against physical threats, but emotional threats too. For a long time she believed that she was the only one there. She did not know about the others until after Rebellion, and she doesn't like them very much. She thinks they get in the way of her job which she's perfectly capable of doing on her own. can't really stand to look at Madoka. Her voice when she's fronting is the same as it is in the series.
Homulilly holds a lot of Homura's trauma and especially her suicidal impulses. In her own words, "I can't remember anything anymore, except glimmers of light and regret." She's not literally Homura's witch form, moreso an alter who identifies as such and holds all her memories from that brief period. She fronts extremely rarely, but when she's fronting she speaks very slow and softly.
Madoka Kaname is an introject of Madoka! This one was a bit hard because she really fits the definition of both a gatekeeper and caretaker, but ultimately her main goal is to help keep the others balanced and safe. She usually goes by Kaname for the comfort of the other alters. She only fronts in times of great distress, because she feels as though she doesn't deserve to be Homura- she's here to help her, not be her. She feels extremely insecure about not being as good as the "real" Madoka, thinking that she would be better at helping Homura than Kaname ever is. She doesn't love Madoka like the other alters do, but she does admire/idolize her in a similar way. Imagine being an introject of a girl who literally became god. When she fronts she speaks with Madoka's tone and cadence, but with Homura's voice.
Akumura becomes a co-host and fully splits after Rebellion to help Homura deal with the unending trauma of the main series. Akemi got re-traumatized so badly she needs a protector for her. I'm mostly joking. I want to be clear- just like in the movie, Akumura is not evil. In fact, she cares a lot about both Homura and Madoka, and has Homura's goal of keeping Madoka safe and happy, regardless of how Madoka feels about it. Akumura serves to protect Homura against emotional threats by deflecting and playing the part of an evil demon to try and let the insults slide off her back. When that doesn't work, she resorts to mostly empty threats to get the aggressor to back off. Akumura feels like she's in charge of everyone else, with the exception of Kaname, who she feels undeserving of having as an alter. She pities Akemi and Homulilly- her and Akemi tend to butt heads a lot, because Akumura thinks that Akemi should let her take care of things after everything Akemi's been through, and Akemi would like to continue living her life without this "devil". Akumura fully thinks of herself as an actual demon and gets a little dysphoric when fronting in Homura's human form. In headspace she looks a lot like Homura's devil form, but much more demonic. I think she carries a lot of Homura's religious guilt, her complicated feelings about her love for Madoka and how her Catholicism haunts her. She feels older than Homura herself. When she fronts she speaks in that same smooth, slightly airy and condescending tone she does at the end of the movie.
All of them deserve the world. This is factual information and not my opinion at all. Also had a funny realization about my Homura and @crispy-art-on-fire's Blitzwing while writing this:
These guys would be hilarious in the same room. I don't think they'd get along it would just be funny. Giant war mech VS traumatized Catholic lesbian child soldier who would win.
Also before anyone thinks this- no, Homura's OSDD didn't come about from her time as a magical girl. Her alters were there way before that, her time as a magical girl simply made them more present and necessitated splitting for her to cope with what was happening to her.
Homura's main goal is still to protect Madoka, everyone just has different thoughts about how they should do that.
I think that while Akemi is the host and protector, she does not know how to handle emotional situations very well when it's not something she can protect Homura from. Along with her being very jaded, she gets kind of uncomfortable in high emotion situations and rarely gets emotional herself... which can lead to things like "Akemi flipping her hair and aurafarming while Sayaka and Madoka are in the background experiencing severe emotional distress over having watched their friend get murdered."
