Now less gendered, more consistent between ages, and with baby faces!

Finally, after months, I have finished these. A long time ago now, I'd made my original templates but didn't really pay any mind to how gendered faces really are, and how inconsistent they are between each age. I love the Maxis faces, I just wanted them to look a little less lumpy, and to replace ones that I felt were redundant. Basically, I hated that with any given template, I couldn't really tell what a sim was going to look like as an adult because every face looked different at each stage!
So today I bring to you my less gendered Maxis Match templates, where I have chosen which face I felt was more iconic and matched the other gender with it, and then made every age look more like that template (including baby faces).
Martin Ruben can be a good example:
Yeah, sure, the eyes are the same, but that's pretty much where the likeness ends. A lot of the templates will do this, and some of the female faces suffered for it (jaws were outlawed on females in 2004, didn't you know?)
They aren't perfect but they're miles better than the originals! I also think they bring a lot more variety to faces, because I did notice that a lot of the templates would use face parts from entirely different templates! Face 2's eyes and face 1's nose are really popular, as well as yeeting jaws and chins out the window.

I think I had face blindness from doing so many of these faces at the same time because faces 8 & 10 ended up looking too similar, so I have updated face 8!

Here you have my makeover for 1080 West Leisure Lane, aka Natasha Una's house! I had a hard time renovating this lot for the wrong reasons... I actually "like" the original house, or at least the ideas they had in mind. That's why I kept some of the furniture and original layout, especially in the bedroom and the bathroom, and added some extra decoration.
For the living room I went for a Victorian-esque route, because I loved the original couches sooooooo much, therefore I decorated the room around them. I kept all the original grilled cheese paintings and pottery and added a bit more here and there so it seems like the house is lived-in and also add a bit more personality to it.
Lastly, I saw the developers put down some Japanese-style paintings, so I put down a fake mat for Natasha to use for either taichi, yoga, meditation or whatever you have in mind.

So... after like three years of not posting any makeover (time truly flies, huh), here you have my makeover for 1050 East Leisure Lane aka the Bell family house. Just like the Contrary house, I tried to go for a 70s style but this time with a bit more colors like green and blue.
I did some changes to the floorplant because tbh the original one didn't convince me, especially downstairs in the ballet room and the room next to it. I made the living room a bit larger and got rid of some of the walls.
I also made the lot smaller using LotAdjuster, so now it's 40x40 instead of 40x50 like before.

because making a world is really really hard y'all and I need to share it
It's based on the hood from the sims 2 for ps2, which I have dubbed Serenity Ridge. It's a sort of time capsule world that will have no time period. It's a mix of all time periods and technology so that nothing will ever really feel out of place if you use ITF like me!
Someday it'll be finished hahahahaha
I gave every sim in Barnacle Bay a makeover, as well as renovated (almost) every single lot, including community lots. I used ALL eps and sps, ALL of them, as well as a LOT of store content. I repeat, I used ALL eps/sps and a lot of store content, as well as custom sliders which I will link.
I am now convinced that BB was supposed to be an entirely different world but this is what we ended up with.

For a few families, I revived dead family members and added children (I really hate the dead mom/wife trope. Stop killing female sims for lore), and for the Goldbeard's, Eleanor has 2 dead siblings but her children and her grandchildren don't have a 2nd parent, so Minty Goldbeard is now Eleanor's late husband and Cathy Chaterly is now Tobias' late wife. I did not update anyone's bio because lazy.
Just a few examples of the changes that I made. I want to reiterate that I have ALL eps/sps and store content. If you do not have all eps/sps/store content, some items may be replaced. I also used the face sliders from Simtanico, One Euro Mutt, and Jonha. If you want the Sims to look the way I made them, you will need these sliders.
I made this save for personal use and I like sliders :)

sometimes I clean lots, but I forget a lot lol I use an entirely different downloads folder from my usual gameplay one though so I've never really that worried about much, except for that time I got the super duper hug bug but we wont talk about that. I just use Chris Hatch's lot cleaner when I remember/download a lot from somewhere.
Twinbrook is one of my favorite worlds and Juan Darer is one of my favorite Sims so I decided to play him and slowly rebuild his burnt down house. He also brought his wife, Lacy, and her sister, Macy, back from the dead to live out their lives properly.
The layout is almost entirely inspired by the original lot, but I took some creative liberties :)
The top also has some hidden electrifying things for parties on top lol. Juan built everything with his own two hands (sometimes his best friend, Harwood Clay, would help).
Living room, where they like to watch home movies. Also featuring Fester, the cat Juan stole from the Whelof's. Fester obviously wanted to live with Juan more or else he wouldn't have gone so willingly.
Kitchen, Lacy's second favorite room (only after her studio). One of the first rooms Juan finished remodeling, and the one where he was when he brought Lacy back from the dead.
Bar/nook. They generally prefer the keg but Lacy likes to read to Gracie here when she's fussy.
Juan's main workshop where he dabbles with all sorts of toy. His main source of income is from his inventions but lately he's been out of ideas....except for one. No, that's not possible. Is it?
Lacy's studio, where she likes to unwind with some old records and paint, sketch, or sculpt to her heart's content. Juan doesn't come up here often, unless he misses her, of course.
Juan's "secret lab" that isnt that big of a secret. He researches more in depth botany here, he swears he's on the verge of a breakthrough using cloning technology!

And hello again (double upload today, that's a new one!). This time I am here to bring you a subhood version of the wonderful neighborhood of Berrybury by Oceansmotion/Aoife. I've been dying to see this hood attached to a Veronaville without having it have to be the main hood, and this was my work around for it!
I followed the same steps as I did for the previous hood Opening Valley to make this a subhood. Everything else about this hood has been kept the same, except for the ID. This subhood version is renamed BERRY, for Berrybury of course lol.
