Do we send questions for the podcast in your ask box or...?
Yes! If you’d check the page titled How to Ask, which I recommend everyone do, you’ll see that the first bulletpoint states that “Questions will be primarily received through our ask box!”
Thanks for checking! -Amber
Hello hello, question askers!  This is Melanie (posting for the first time), with an update on question formatting.  We’ve been getting lots of great OC’s, but I need to you make sure you include your name/username/some kind of ID in your question so that we can credit your OC.  You’re creating cool things and we want people to know who you are.
Basically, if you’re sending in anything (especially on anon), you need to sign it with your name.  ALSO!  Include details about your world!  Otherwise, we can’t answer you question fully.  What kind of world is it (scifi/fantasy or western mystery romcom on a murder train)?  What is the context of the situation?  Does everyone know vampires exist?  For more help on how to format your question, take a gander at our how to ask page!
Can’t wait to hear about your problems!
-Melanie
Good point, I suppose I should have mentioned! You can leave us with a nickname if you're not comfortable giving us your url for whatever reason, though something like your blog name would credit you better! As far as context goes, use your discretion! Sometimes a question with little context can breed really interesting conversation, as long as we have a basic idea of what's possible in the world. We don't need a 12 page essay on your story plot, but a simple 'This story takes place in a fantasy world in which X, Y, and Z things are possible.' Hope this helps! We're almost to a good amount of questions for us to start whittling down from! Keep sending them in!!! -Amber

hey! this idea is actually really brilliant and I'm very excited for it! I want to ask, do we send the questions through the asks or by messages or?
Send your questions in through the ask box while it’s open! Once we hit a high enough number we’ll close it and go through the questions before opening them again when we need them.
Thanks for asking! We’re excited too!
Hey everyone! A little while ago I posted on @myfirstoc and @artmemesarchive about a podcast my friend @privateerkiing and I want to do! Well, now we’re working on getting it started! We’re still kind of figuring out how to do it and post it and make it good, but one thing is for sure; We can’t do it without your help. We need your questions!
Send us the questions from your original characters! Whether their questions are about adjusting to newfound super powers, whether their friend is a vampire or not, or advice on how to save the world, I bet we can come up with something good for you! Read more about how to ask questions/how often the askbox will be open here!
Unfortunately, not every ask can be answered! We apologize in advance.
Reblogs are appreciated, we’ll let you know when we plan on recording, posting, etc as soon as we can! Thanks in advance! - Amber

Sure man, so long as I can make it in.
The idea is to do as many questions that make good radio as possible! One/both of us might even answer some questions in blog form if we like it but it doesn’t quite work for radio! I know how it is to send something in to a show and not make the cut but boy it’s gotta be hard to decide on their end.

Are dnd characters ok?? And also fan characters???
I answered for fan characters here :)! I think DND characters is probably fine if it’s mentioned in a P.S. about the world it takes place in, so we don’t assume it’s an original property and cause beef with Wizards of the Coast/whomever owns your table top system somehow!
mythandlaur replied to your post “A friend and I are thinking about making a podcast where we answer…”
Would you accept fancharacters too? Mine only vaguely relate to the source material and wouldn’t ask anything regarding it but I don’t want to overstep a line. Sounds cool to me though!
I think fan characters are fine as long as we don’t go too far into intellectual property! Fan characters/sonas/self inserts even are good if it’s discussed in language that doesn’t involve the main plot too much. I’d say including the fandom they’re from in the post script is a good idea.
Maybe not RP blogs for canon characters, though. Gets a little risky! I guess it’ll depend on context.
A friend and I are thinking about making a podcast where we answer questions from people’s original characters! Like an advice show, but we’re giving advice to imagined people. Example questions include things like “I’m having trouble relating to my friends due to some trauma in my past, what should I do?” and “I THINK MY BF IS A VAMPIRE?? HERE’S A LIST OF REASONS WHY. HELP.”
Realistic and OUT THERE Questions are all accepted! You could be as vague or specific as you’d like about your universe!
Would anyone be interested in participating? If we’re to do this we’ll need questions!
Please reply in the notes/tags if you would send in questions!
