Aaron should have been raging that someone had attacked his fiancé and left him bloody but because it’s all about Cain they can’t have someone be rightfully angry at him, oh no. Aaron has to be soft spoken and understanding and not even acknowledge that realistically if Cain hadn’t collapsed he could have seriously injured Robert but Cain has cancer and you can’t be angry at a cancer patient. It’s all got to be about them.

This whole Cain storyline and the ID’s has completely mischaracterised Aaron. We’ve seen that side of him multiple times since he reunited with Robert, angry and protective over him. We saw it with John and Kev. Why not with Cain, huh? He left Robert injured and was gonna hurt him more. Last time Cain kidnapped and beat Robert Aaron was in defence mode and he wasn’t even on good terms with Rob at that point. Why not now? Because Cain has cancer? Because they can’t make Cain look like a bad guy? They really have to sacrifice these moments of Aaron’s true character just to make Cain look better than he is (unsuccessfully might I add).

Yeah, Aaron defended Robert to Cain and that was a good scene but there was literally no reaction besides “what??” to Robert getting attacked. Not even an “are you okay?” Not even a “let’s get you checked out”. No. No concern for Robert was shown, it was all Cain Cain Cain.

Also don’t even get me started on how we got a Coira makeout session with her giggling about Cain attacking Robert when we didn’t even see Aaron ask if Robert was okay. I’m not one to be annoyed at the lack of physical intimacy but not even having Aaron check in on Robert? Why has it come down to this?
