I don’t think people realize how much of an impact this kind of support can have, I don’t think everyone knows what these little things can mean to us.

It may just be me, I don’t know. But every single time I see this on my dash or on someone’s blog or anywhere else, I kind of just breathe a sigh of relief. That’s one more person who cares. That’s one more person who doesn’t hate me.

Because it means so much, especially when all the media is spewing out is that I’m a terrible person and no one wants people like me near them. It means so much because I’m tired of people who won’t sit next to me in class, or who choose to join the longer line at the grocery store because they don’t want to be beside me and my family. It means so much when I have to lift my head any time someone says the words Islam or Muslim because I’m scared that they’ll say something that’ll hurt, when I have to pay attention to the news because who knows what so and so is saying now, who knows which of my people are being attacked now, who knows what’s going to happen to me now.

It means so much because I’ve been given the idea that the world is against me. And a huge part of it may be, but at least I’ve been reminded that some of it, just a small group of people, acknowledges that I’m a person too. That people like me are just that, people.

Maybe it’s just me, I don’t know. But now you do, so thank you for believing that I’m human when so many people don’t.

Moving on, yes you’re right. Terrorism and terrorist threats are a big issue in America. But not with Muslims, but with white people.  Twice as many people people died from terrorist attacks by non-Muslim people than dying from actual Muslims. TWICE. Also, out of 26 major terrorist attacks that were carried out, 19 of them were carried out by non-Muslims.  Most of these non-Muslim attacks are carried out by extreme white supremacist groups that demonize minorities. Are we going to forget about the Charleston shooting in South Carolina? Are we going to forget about the attack on the Sikh Temple in 2012? And the other countless attacks on minorities portrayed by these white supremacists? Since 9/11, more people were killed in America by white supremacists. SINCE 9/11. 

ALSO most of the the Jihadist terrorists are actually BORN here in America. Matter of fact, 82% of them are U.S born citizens.  They’re not immigrants, they’re not refugees. THEY. ARE. BORN HERE. 

So should trump put a ban on Muslims? No. Considering most of the terrorists are born here and considering only 12 terrorists were refugees since 9/11, putting a ban on Muslims isn’t going to do much when it comes to getting rid of the problem. 

The reason why trump was elected is because he’s Russia’s bitch and we all damn well know there was some rigging going on. It’s not rocket science when you consider the fact Hillary won the popular vote. I honestly don’t know how he’s gonna make it 8 years when it seems like he can barely make 1. We are not bullies. But the neo-nazis/trump supporters who look are minorities as scum of the earth are. 

Also……we didn’t…. really…..demonize Ted Cruz. I don’t…. really think we cared for him other than the fact he makes a damn good meme.
