We did it. We really fuxxin did it. We pulled into NY yesterday on the full moon & woke up here in our own bed (!) brand new. A whole country traveled in two months. So many new friends, so many love notes & gushy eyes in the front row, so many t-shirts with our faces on 'em cannoned into the crowd, so many cute Queers & wise poets & gemmy songmakers among us, so many mistakes & best takes, so many kisses in red states & mountain-wavvvy drives, so many fresh poems & reupholstered songs. Thank you to all of you who made this adventure what it was. & I feel so mindblowingly lucky to have done it all beside you, Angel. You are so often the reason I feel safe enough to leap. You are my life's blessing. A forrrreal modernday Queen. Thank you for bearing my less-than-lovely road lows & always, always encouraging me higher. You're a prayer in motion. I ode you.
