@odorshorses
This is ridiculous.
This👏🏼 was👏🏼 a👏🏼 joke.👏🏼 KIKÉ HERNANDEZ SET UP THIS PICTURE AND POSTED IT ON HIS TWITTER HIMSELF to make fun of how short he is. Literally the opposite of fragile masculinity. Everyone stop ruining his good name he is the sweetest goofball in all of baseball he deserves better I love him.
Sharing for context. I pretty much figured there was a joke here or you wouldn’t see the bucket.
Allow me to direct you towards his engagement photos.
The New York Mets just had a 57 million dollar clubhouse renovation. They won't let the minor league team use this for their regular season (it's spring training only). It's to "remind minor leaguers" of the status they should want to earn.
Minor league players in baseball are notoriously underpaid. Salaries can be as low as 1,100 per month for some players. Remember, they're not playing the whole year, plus there is no union at the minor league level.
The Mets are estimated to be worth around 2.6 billion. Yet they place more importance on proving a point to minor league players than paying them enough to feed themselves an acceptable diet for an athlete.
If anyone tells you that the biggest reason why baseball is being ruined isn't the greed of owners of teams worth billions of dollars, they're being ignorant.
The greed of owners combined with a baffling policy of fiscal austerity and the rise of ticket prices say all you need to know about the State of Affairs of MLB. Former Met Ty Kelly gets it.
Since pitchers and catchers first workout is like a week away (give or take, depending on team) let's play a tag game to get hype! Which do you prefer:
day games // night games
pitchers' duels // slugfests
cotton candy // soft pretzels
anyway the exclamation points made me cry
I am HEARTBROKEN
what if we all teamed up and overthrew manfred
this is a yu darvish appreciation account
Thanks Trevor
so next year we throw random people in a tumblr mlb group chat and see what happens right
“Baseball breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall all alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops.”

okay i LIKE the Braves. I like the guys on the team.
But I really want to see atlanta do more than just ‘oh we wont do our racist shit when a guy on your team happens to be native. Well just do it when we’re not playing him :-) “
Like you have an opportunity to make real, better, changes. Take it.
anyways. FUCK stl to the moon and back but them scoring TEN RUNS in the FIRST inning is the baseball gods dishing karma.
