Parker sighed as she listened to the people around her continue to gossip about what she could only assume was her disaster of a wedding. She hadn’t been able to say I do so instead she said she couldn’t do it and she ran out like something out of a movie or tv show. She had just so badly wanted to make an example for her new rule, to show that species could co-exist, but instead she’d made a huge ass out of herself. Rather than dwell on her mistakes she was focused on moving forward, part of that was getting better relationships with council members. Watching as the vampire took a seat next to her and she gave her a smile. “Thanks for meeting me.” Wanting to make sure that her and other vampire didn’t have any bad blood after she’d ran out on a fellow vampire. Plus her actions had left the witches under her rather pissed, ready to call for her removal. So rather than escalating the situation more, she decided to make peace, figuring if she did it would help them simmer down.“I just wanted to clear the air and make sure that there’s no weirdness between us after I ran out on Alex. It was my intention to embarrass him or vampires as a whole.” Hell she’d wanted to go through with it, but as she stood up there she couldn’t. “Really I know things are tense with everyone right now, but I don’t want my shit show to add to it.”

“Personally, I have nothing against you Parker. Alas, I can’t say the same for others, Alex, included.” Gina understood their concerns, and found them valid based on what she witnessed. However, as to what went on in Parker’s mind, no one could share that but the woman herself. “I’m sure you had your reasons.” The stunt Parker pulled riled up a lot of people on both sides of the equation. It must not be easy task to the in the blonde’s shoes right now. After-all, her only ‘crime’ was getting cold feet on her wedding day. No normal person who suffered a bout of nerves had to face a fallout of this magnitude. Unfortunately, due to the stakes involved she had a lot of damage control to do, and what better way to start than hearing the other side’s story. “I’m here to listen and not judge.” Maintaining the peace and moving on from this unfortunate event would be in everyone’s best interest. If Alex and Parker could figure out their relationship without everything going to hell, that would a bonus. “You can start by telling me how have you been coping with all of this...attention?” For Gina she was accustomed to it, as it was part of her lifestyle as a media mogul.
