perhaps he ought be consulted . CLOSURE was owed each .

max caulfield, that ( unwilling ) keeper of time , had FAILED . three bullets , strung onto a necklace , hung about her neck and imprinted themselves in defiance against her flesh as though she were a foreign and malevolent entity ( you ABANDONED her; she will NEVER know you returned ) . clutching these within a trembling palm which rested upon her chest , she rapped thrice upon the doorframe prior to entering .

It was unsurprising that Chloe Price, that best friend of Max in childhood, too had seemed to favour that enigmatic teenager. Yet, still Max became aware of a twinge of jealousy which coiled about her belly as a serpent.

Scuffed shoes dug faded tips into the soil, sprays of dirt flinging mildly outward at the creation of each new divot. An unsteady hand dragged shy fingers through tangled hair, and a timid voice arose in trepidation - as though unsure how its query would be addressed.

Portrayal

There are enough Esmeralda blogs on Tumblr to populate a small country. This one is among my favourites. Rather than attempting to portray Esmeralda as a fully-grown adult, with all the maturity and life experience of a woman in her thirties, this blog elects instead to keep to the age set for the character in the novel and to convey her as what she is: a teenager. That is not to say, however, that she is without her best qualities; this blog portrays the character still as kind, compassionate, and sarcastic, with a caustic wit and a gilded tongue. Exceptional too is the ability of this mun to adapt her muse into each and every verse, be it into the modern environment of Blackwell or into the bowels of a Victorian opera-house; no matter the time or location, this blog manages always to keep those traits which are essential to the character intact. I could not think of a better blog to oversee Esmeralda roaming the halls of Blackwell Academy, and am beyond excited to begin to write Max into a friendship with her.

Portrayal

Perfect! It is rare to find someone who portrays an archetypal character like Victoria with such care and such understanding; it is incredibly obvious that the mun behind this blog adores her muse and puts forth immense effort into ensuring that she is given the proper complexities and nuances that such a character as Victoria demands. There is much more to this “queen bee” than vanity and a bitchy front, and this blog conveys that flawlessly; beneath the outward projection is a character who is kind, loyal, intelligent, and ambitious, who simply wants to survive in an environment as competitive as the academic and artistic world and who simply endeavours to overcome her insecurities in her own way; she is a teenager, not a villain - though her flaws are different from those of the protagonist, she is not any less of a good person, and anyone who wins her affections is able to observe that immediately. Whether you enjoyed the character in the game or not, it is impossible to read the content of this blog and not feel the need to reconsider your prior misconceptions. This particular Victoria forces you to truly examine the nature of the character, and that alone is an incredible feat.

Easily one of the raddest acquaintances I’ve made not only on this blog, but in the roleplay community in general. We don’t talk incredibly often, as I’m rarely on this blog at all and am but a lowly shy guy, but whenever we do this particular person is always friendly, supportive, and talkative - not to mention, it’s always nice to find people with whom you share solidarity in dealing with the classic and unfortunate people-who-can’t-take-a-hint. The mun is funny, and approachable, and down-to-earth, incredibly easy to speak with and a wonderful presence to have on your dashboard; honestly, I too admire the mun for her confidence in expressing herself exactly as she is and for handling adversity with grace.
