parker thinks that he’s being more than reasonable in regards to lavender, and that mason is just pissed because for once, the two of them hold different opinions. mason believes that his new girlfriend is trustworthy and isn’t going to fuck him over again. parker gives it a week before she does exactly that. probably for the best that she picked mason then, he mused with a snort.
as mason paces around his living room ( uninvited, but whatever ), parker wonders if he should point out that lavender most likely feels like shit about herself with or without his criticism of her behavior, and that it’s not like he’s seeking out the fighting. he talks about their relationship when it’s the topic of discussion and never outside of those parameters. “you done?” it seemed like mason had spent a lot of time on that speech, but not a word of it had gotten through to parker.
it wasn’t often that mason and parker held different opinions, they were both so similar and so when they did, it always seemed to draw a wedge in between them. mason hated it. he wanted this argument or whatever it was to end, he was done with it all.
parker’s response was not at all shocking to mason, parker was never the one to fight back, he showed disinterest in most things, fighting with mason included. “dude are you even fucking listening to me?” he spat, his arms crossed against his chest. “if you truly give a shit about me, you’d drop this whole lavender is the worst bullshit, i know you don’t genuinely think that,” he rolled his eyes, of course hinting to the fact that parker has (or had) feelings for lavender and didn’t think that badly of her, obviously.
